Edson's rage was palpable, his chest rising and falling with every breath as he turned on Isa. His voice was sharp, almost cutting. "¿Porque chingados no te defiendes?" he yelled at her, his words full of frustration. His eyes were wild with anger, his hands clenched into fists as he paced in front of her. "Porque tienes que ser tan pinche amable con las personas y no saber dónde poner la maldita línea?" His tone was accusatory, as if blaming her for the chaos.

Isa froze, her heart racing. She couldn't understand why he was so angry at her. Before she could respond, Edson nudged her roughly, making her step back. "Porque siempre tengo que salir a defenderte, Isa? ¡No te das cuenta de lo que estás haciendo?"

Julian and Diego, who had been near the kitchen, rushed into the living room at the sound of Edson's yelling. They stopped in their tracks, eyes widening as they saw the scene unfolding. Julian immediately tried to intervene, his voice soft but concerned. "Edson, cálmate, hermano, no es para tanto," he said, his hands raised in a calming gesture. "¿Qué está pasando?"

But Edson, seething with rage, ignored him. His focus was entirely on Isa. "No me chingues, Julian. Esto es entre ella y yo. No te metas," he snapped, dismissing him completely. His eyes never left Isa. "Ya basta, Isa. ¿Qué esperabas? ¿Que todo fuera bonito? ¡No puedes dejar que te traten así!"

Isa flinched at the harshness in his words. She had never seen Edson so angry before, and it hurt her to hear him speak to her like this. She opened her mouth to say something, but the words caught in her throat. Edson was relentless, his anger fueling his next words. "¡Siempre estás haciendo todo por los demás y nunca piensas en ti! ¿Dónde queda tu dignidad, Isa? ¿Dónde queda tu puto respeto?"

Isa's eyes welled up with tears, but she fought them back, trying to keep her composure. She couldn't handle this right now. Not after everything that had just happened. But Edson wasn't done.

"Siempre me estás dando miedo, siempre eres la buena... pero no eres capaz de plantarte ni con los que deberían ser tu familia. ¡Te ven como una maldita muñeca y no haces nada!" His voice was getting louder, and the anger was radiating off of him. "¡Te cansas de ser siempre tan buena, Isa? ¿Qué esperas, que te lo agradezcan?"

The words stung, and Isa's heart twisted in her chest. Her voice finally broke through the haze of emotion. "¡Porque no me queda otra, Edson! ¡¿Sabes cuánto me gustaría ser otra persona, ser alguien que puede defenderse sin pensar en los demás todo el tiempo?! Pero no puedo, porque eso me haría tan parecida a ti, ¡y yo no quiero ser como tú!"

The moment the words left her mouth, she saw the shock in Edson's eyes. He froze, the hurt visible on his face as the impact of her words hit him like a punch to the gut. He stood there, speechless for a moment, and then his anger boiled over.

He shoved her hard, and Isa stumbled back, her hands reaching out to steady herself. "¡No te atrevas a hablarme así!" Edson yelled, his voice seething with fury as he reached for her, his hands trying to pull her back towards him.

Isa recoiled, pushing his hands off of her. "No, Edson. Ya basta." She was trembling, tears now threatening to fall as she took a step back. His words had cut deeper than anything else had before. She tried to steady her breath, not wanting to show weakness in front of anyone, but the pain was too much.

Edson's eyes blazed with fury, and his jaw clenched as he took a step forward, his voice seething with anger. "¿Así que ahora me echas la culpa de todo? ¡Me haces sentir como si fuera yo el malo!" His words cut through the silence of the room like a knife. Isa took another step back, her heart racing, and for the first time, she couldn't bring herself to speak.

Her head hung low, and she looked almost apologetic as if the chaos was her fault. She felt like everything had spiraled out of control, and all she wanted was for things to settle.
