"Mr. Breydon D'Louvières, CEO of Dawnlens Corporation, you have the honor of posing the question to Miss Thailand."
Shit. Ang baby ko.
Napatili kaagad ako ng itapat ang camera sa mukha ni Breydon. Oh, God. My handsome baby.
Ngumiti si Breydon bago hawakan ang microphone, "Miss Thailand, in a world where technology connects us more than ever before, it also presents challenges in maintaining personal privacy. How do you believe society should balance the benefits of technological advancement with the need for individual privacy and security?"
Grabe naman. Kailan niya naisip ang tanong na 'yan? Habang kumakain ba kami? Damn. Sobrang talino talaga ng baby ko.
"Thank you for the question, Mr. D'Louvières. Indeed, the rapid pace of technological advancement has brought immense benefits to society..."
Ang ganda din ng sagot ni Miss Thailand. Pero I'm sure si Miss Philippines ang mananalo, siya talaga ang winner ko tonight.
"And, the Miss Universe is..."
"𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘈𝘏𝘏!"
"𝘗𝘏𝘐𝘓𝘐𝘗𝘗𝘐𝘕𝘌𝘚! 𝘗𝘏𝘐𝘓𝘐𝘗𝘗𝘐𝘕𝘌𝘚! 𝘗𝘏𝘐𝘓𝘐𝘗𝘗𝘐𝘕𝘌𝘚!"
"Philippines!"
Napangiti kaagad ako habang nakatingin sa television.
Sabi na, eh. Siya ang mananalo. Sobrang galing niya kaya.
"Baby!"
At last, tapos na din ang contest, makaka-uwi na kami ni Breydon.
"Baby." he immediately wrapped his arms around me.
"God, I am so tired." he whispered while hugging me.
Kaagad ko naman siyang niyakap, "I know, baby." hinaplos ko ang likod niya, "Uuwi na tayo, don't worry." I gently kissed his hair.
Dahil tapos na ang contest, uuwi na talaga kami ngayon. Pero dahil gusto kong magpa-picture kila Zion Lapaz at Francine Perez, pinilit ko pa talaga si Breydon na samahan akong lumapit sa dressing room nila.
"You already see them, baby. That's fine." saad ni Breydon habang nakatayo sa tabi ko. Nandito kasi kami sa gilid, hinihintay na lumabas sila Francine at Zion sa dressing room.
"Hindi sapat 'yon, baby. Kailangan kong magpa-picture sa kanila, I'm sure hindi ko na sila makikita sa susunod."
Napaka-swerte ko kaya! Argh! Nakakita talaga ako ng artista ngayong gabi!
"Shit. Ayan na sila." nilakasan ko kaagad loob ko at lumapit ako kila Francine at Zion. Lumabas na kasi sila ng dressing room.
"A-Ah, hello. Pwede po bang magpa-picture sa inyo?" sobrang kabado kong saad habang nakatingin sa kanila.
"Sure." Francine smiled at me.
'Aah! Mama! Sobrang ganda niya talaga! Tapos si Zion napaka-pogi! Ang bango-bango din nila! Damn! I am so starstruck right now!"
