"Good morning, Sir Breydon." I greeted him pag-pasok ko pa lang ng office niya.
Napatingin kaagad sa akin si Breydon, "Good morning." he smiled, "What's on the agenda for today, Miss La delle?"
Nag-lakad ako palapit sa table niya. "I have some important news to discuss with you, sir. It's about your upcoming schedule."
Ibinalik niya ang tingin sa laptop, "Go on, what's the news?"
"Well, sir," tumingin ako sa iPad ko, "I've just received confirmation that your business trip to the United States is scheduled for this weekend."
Oo, aalis si Breydon this coming weekend. Pupunta siya ng ibang bansa.
"This weekend?" napa-tingin siya sa akin, "That's sooner than I expected. Which city am I headed to?"
"You'll be traveling to New York City, sir. You have a series of meetings with potential investors and partners lined up."
Hay, isang linggo ata siya do'n. I'll definitely miss him.
"Is everything prepared for the trip?" bigla siyang tumayo at lumapit sa akin. Naamoy ko agad ang pabango niya pag-lapit niya sa akin.
"Yes, sir. Flights, accommodations, and transportation have all been taken care of. I've also compiled a comprehensive itinerary for your meetings and events." sagot ko sa kanya.
He smiled and gently caressed my hair, "You're always on top of things, Miss La delle. Please send me the itinerary so I can review it before the trip."
Tumango ako sa kanya, "I'll email it to you right away. Is there anything else you need assistance with regarding the trip?"
Umiling siya, "No, that will be all for now." he answered, "I'll miss you, though. Can you come with me?"
"Hindi pwede." sagot ko kaagad sa kanya. Madami akong gagawin dito sa kompanya, natambakan na nga ako, eh.
He pouted his lips, "I know." niyakap niya ang bewang ko, "I promise to facetime you every day. Never attempt to disregard it."
Ngumiti ako, "Basta huwag ka tatawag kapag office hours, hindi ko talaga masa-sagot 'yan." sagot ko sa kanya.
"Noted, baby." he kissed my nose. Tumitig siya sa mukha ko. "Argh, I fucking miss you already." niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit.
Natawa ako ng mahina habang niyayakap siya pabalik, "Mamaya na ang lambingan, Sir Breydon." paalala ko sa kanya. Nakalimutan niya na ata na nandito kami sa office, hay nako.
"No." sagot niya sa akin. Parang 'naur' talaga 'yon. May accent talaga 'tong foreigner na 'to.
"Mamaya na nga." itinulak ko siya ng kaunti, "May meeting ka pa mamaya, mag-handa ka na." hinalikan ko ang pisngi niya.
Napangiti naman siya, "Alright, madame." sagot niya sa akin. "I love you." his eyes twinkled.
I smiled, "I love you." sagot ko sa kanya.
Parang kinilig tuloy siya.
"Damn, I'm really in love." natawa siya. He run his fingers through his hair habang natatawa.
Sobrang gwapo. Nakakainis!
"Work na." itinulak ko na siya pabalik sa swivel chair niya.
He slightly glared at me, "I'm your boss, do you remember that?"
Natawa ako, "Yes, sir." sagot ko sa kanya.
Pag-labas ko ng office niya, dumeretso na ako sa Advertising Department dahil kailangan kong kausapin ang head nila.
