✨✨ Welcome to: The Ellen Show ✨✨

The Show's starting, and Shawn enters the stage, waving at the applauding audience. Some of the girls he's smiling at are almost breaking out into tears, and a very brave girl cries with breaking voice: "I love you Shawn!!!"

Shawn smiles and presses a hand on his heart to show that he's appreciating the hustle and bustle.
I can see his cheek muscle twitching a bit.

Ellen greets Shawn with a hug and a bright smile, and the orchestra's playing some music.

"Shawn Mendes, Ladies and Gentlemen, Shawn Mendes!"

The audience doesn't stop cheering and the girls don't stop screaming and Shawn's waving at them.

Ellen's beaming. "How lovely to see you, Shawn! It's been quite a while. How are you?"

"I'm good thank's. Hope you too?"

"Yes, I am, I am. Thank you. Man, we didn't see each other for ages! Think you've grown a lot since the last time you've been here!"

"And you're still ... Ellen. Your smile stayed the same. – I have to say it: I was really surprised when you announced your return on stage!"

Ellen laughs. "Then I have to say it too: I was not surprised about your return on stage, Shawn. I guess I just have that sense for people."

Shawn grins. "Well."

"Well?"

"Do you remember suggesting Taylor and Zac Efron being a couple? Well, that was not right at all, I think."

There's a short sequence played of a show in like – 2011? – where Taylor Swift and Zac Efron are being teased by Ellen and where they are playing an 'improvised' song about Ellen always playing Cupid.

"The cool sweater song really was something," Shawn says.

The audience is giggling.

"Well, they had chemistry," Ellen points at frozen Taylor and Zac.

Shawn nods. "Yeah. Totally. And that you've been wrong was only the free pass everyone needs sometimes. I'm sure you're being right usually."

The crowd laughs and Ellen either. "You're charming as always. – I wanna have you more often here in the show!"

"We surely can play ping-pong some time again, can't we?"

"You're reading my mind, you're reading my mind, Shawn!"

There's a short sequence of Shawn and Ellen playing ping-pong several years ago.

It's funny to watch.

The crowd is applauding and laughing as they see young Shawn joking with Ellen while trying to catch the pong. It's actually going very well.

"Ahh, back then," Ellen wipes away an imaginary tear. "Did you see me catching the last one? The jump..."

"The jump was the heck – like 'I WILL GET IT!' You did fine", Shawn looks at the frozen picture of Ellen being on the jump. "I don't remember if you really did catch the pong but it was a heck of a jump."

"I did get the ball!" Ellen claims. "And then I won."

"Well..."
