Emma Swan had a ton of families, but she had always dreamed of a real, caring and loving one. It's what she had done for the past 15 years of her life, she was running and looking for a home.

On her 16th birthday, she was adopted by this amazing couple and she finally thought that they were the family she had been looking for all these years. Still, one thing was missing : her biological parents. Emma wanted to learn where she was from and find herself, and she felt that she needed her real parents to understand.

Emma met a guy ready to help her in her quest and told her something she would never forget.
