Belle and Anna had been really nice to Emma. She was happy to finally have one good first day of school, at least morning, for now.
Still, school is school and not always really fun for teenagers. Talking about trigonometry in math class was kind of boring and Emma was simply looking ay the clock, counting the minutes before her class ended. Minutes turned into seconds and soon the bell rang. Finally, lunch! She was starving.
She got out of the class with Belle - Anna wasn't with them in this class - and they both went to their lockers. Emma let her school bag in there and took the money she had been given to buy herself lunch. Just as she closed her her locker, Killian showed up.
"How was your day so far?" he asked.
"Great, actually! Belle and Anna were very nice to me. How about you?" she said.
"Good, but it's school, the routine. And I told you it would be alright." he says.
"You know what? This is probably the best 'first day in a new school' that I ever had!" Emma added.
"Wow, good to hear!"
"Thanks a lot." she smiled and looked down.
"No worries, happy to help! Now let's go eat." Killian added.

"Thanks girls, it was cool to have someone around on the first day." Emma said to Belle and Anna as they were walking out of school.
"Sure, it was great to have you too! We'll see you tomorrow?" Belle answered.
"Yeah, sure!" the blonde said.
"Hey, I forgot to ask. What's your phone number?" Anna added.
"Oh, well.. huh... I don't have a phone yet, but Rose is planning on giving me one. I have a computer, just hadn't really gotten to use it yet, actually." Emma mumbled.
"It's okay! We'll check that later then! See you tomorrow!" Anna said.
"Yeah, see you tomorrow." Emma smiled and left her two new friends to go outside. She was looking for Killian, when she found him with a group, talking and laughing. She stayed not so far for a moment, trying to decide if she should go or not, but then, she walked passed his group and hoped she would remember how to get to her new home without his help.
Killian saw Emma walking alone a few seconds later.
"Sorry, guys, I have to go." he said as he took his schoolbag to leave.
"New girl again?" one of his friends asked.
"Yeah." he simply said before he ran to catch up to her.
"Oh, hi." she said as Killian arrived next to her.
"Hey, sorry I was with-"
"It's okay. I could've gone back to my house by myself." she answered.
"My guess, you would've been lost." he said and she laughed.
"Yeah, probably."

Emma was up in her room, finishing her homework. She closed her book and sighted. She got up from her bed and sat in front of her laptop. She was trying to find a way to send messages to her friends while she didn't have a phone yet, so she created herself an e-mail and then a facebook profile, without putting any pictures or giving information. She'd never really had that kind of stuff, so it felt strange.
She looked up for Anna and Belle and finally for Killian. Emma scrolled through his profile and looked at some pics of him with his friends. She recognized Elsa in some of them.
She stopped on a post where there was a picture of one if his drawings. It was a girl and the note on the top was talking about '1 year of something'.
She checked up the comments and she understood that this girl that Killian had drawn, she was dead.
Emma felt like she had learned too much and she should not have checked up those things, so she closed her laptop. She took her book and sat next to the window.
After a moment, she looked up and saw that Killian was there too and looked at her. She got the paper and a pen.
Hi! she wrote.
