Look Up to the Stars (Captain Swan)

Chapter 49

Short chapter :$

After talking to the doctors and Killian's parents, they decided to go home for the night like the doctor advised, but Emma could not leave. She said she'd call if there was anything and she stayed in the waiting room. It was 2 or 3 am when Emma lied on two chairs for a moment. She was so tired. There wasn't a lot of people around. A few doctors, worried familes. Her eyes closed and she fell asleep.

"Oh, we have some visit." Jefferson said as he saw Killian. "It is so nice of you to come, we're having so much fun." he said. Killian took the risk of taking a few steps, wanting to get closer to Emma. She gave him a look and he understood he needed to stop. Both of them were very good at hiding their fear. It did not show, but still Jefferson knew. Who would not be afraid of a gun? It can end your life in a second.

"Maybe I'm the only having fun, actually. But still, it's good that you're here, because I was just going to show Emma something." he said.

"Stop." Killian said. "She did not do anything to you."

"Oh, you think? She took my daughter away from me. The person I love most in the world. Do you know how it feels?" he asked Killian and then looked at Emma. "Probably not, you have no idea how hurt I am!" Jefferson said. "But that is the thing I was about to show you. How does it feel to really, really hurt?" he asked Emma. "You tell me."

She heard a gun shot and she stopped breathing for a second. She did not feel the pain, she just saw the blood on her shirt. Killian screamed her name and she heard another gun shot. She took a step back and fell to the ground, but still she felt no pain.

Killian rushed to her side, grabbed her hand with the other took her phone.

"You'll be fine." he said, but his voice wasn't really convincing. "You'll be fine." he repeated.

"I-It doesn't hurt." she mumbled, but he did not hear her. He dialed a number on his phone and called an ambulance.

She looked at him, his eyes and then closed hers as the gun shot sound echoed in her head.

Opening her eyes, she found herself in her old house, holding a gun in her hand. It must have been like her nightmare, but when she looked at the ground, she saw Killian instead of Oliver. She dropped the gun and started sobbing. In her blurry vision, she was still able to see Jefferson on the other side of the room, holding a gun as well.

She woke up and slowly sat as she shook her head. She wiped the tears from her cheeks with the back of her hand.

"Miss Swan." she heard. She turned her head and saw Dr Grey. "Sorry to bother you, but Killian has been asking for you." she said with a smile on her face.

It's not much but I had this idea and even if it's little, it means Killian "will be back" in Chapter 50 :p
So that was just a small update but I hope you still enjoyed it :)

And now I mean it when I saw next chapter might not come soon since school exists :$ I hate it.
