Chapter 63: Nostra Farsight
The Palace of Westminster is commonly called the Houses of Parliament. This place is the center of the Political Life of Britain. The two legislative chambers, the House of Lords and the House of Commons occupy the building. Near the palace is the famous Elizabeth Tower nicknamed Big Ben.
Other than the chamber for the House of Lords and Commons, the palace has a chamber for the Monarchy. The interior has a total of 1,100 rooms and 100 staircases. It has a total of 4 floors. The ground floor/basement is occupied by offices, dining rooms, and bars. 1st floor/principal floor consists of the main rooms of the palace, debating chambers, lobbies, and libraries. The 3rd and 4th are used as committee rooms and offices.
Albert Moriarty arrived at the Central Lobby of the Westminster Palace. A familiar place in this building that he always sees every time he attends the Lord of House and Joint Sitting between the 2 houses.
The Central Lobby is the most important part of the building. Leading to the different parts of the Westminster Palace. Albert Moriarty is 2 hours early. Entering from the Peer's entrance where members of the House of Lords entered.
Looking around, Albert Moriarty pondered in thought. Reminiscing the escalating rumors that he heard yesterday.
He started walking going to the east direction beyond the Central Lobby. Heading to a place that wasn't the House of Lords in the south nor it was north that leads to the Chamber of House of Commons. Going to the east where the committee rooms and libraries are located.
Albert Moriarty passed through several doors before stopping in front of one door that led to a room.
Went inside this room to confirm a certain rumor.
Opening the door, Albert James Moriarty confirmed that the ongoing rumor was real.
He put on a surprised expression on his face.
" Oh, I didn't mean to intrude. "
He says to the 4 people inside this room. 3 people from the House of Commons and one person from the House of Lords.
" Lord Moriarty!! "
Both Reuben and Chester exclaimed in surprise. Before standing in their seats and bowing to greet him. Adam Whiteley followed, but his action is more calm and not hurried. His bow is elegant and graceful almost like the manners of a noble.
On the other hand, the last occupant of the room, young master Raoul Oxford-Maximilian merely smiled at him while he was lying on his chair. His posture is not one a proper noble should do.
" Greetings. Mr Reuben, Chester, and Mr. Whiteley. "
The 3 MP Representatives look at him in surprise. Albert couldn't guessed that they would never expect him to know them and remember them.
" Good day to you too, young master Raoul. "
Raoul nodded his head. Drifting his gaze, Albert notices Chester holding a book. A familiar book that he has read once a year ago.
