"So...what are we doing exactly?"

Jennie and Jisoo meandered through the mall. It's been a month since the altercation between Suk-ku and Sung-hoon happened and the whispers had finally settled down. For a week it was the talk of the town as pictures of Suk-ku's fist connecting with Sunghoon while Jennie and Wendy watched. Wendy's face was etched in horror while hers was twisted with rage were plastered all over magazines and even some newspaper. Jennie and Jisoo had finally met for lunch since Jisoo wanted to hear the story from Jennie herself. Sunghoon was also not gonna file charges, he knew better than to mess with the Kims.

"I have to find a present for Lisa's birthday." Jennie told hr for the second time that morning. "It's next week."

"Oh right." Jisoo replied. She followed Jennie into a bookstore. "You're gonna get her a book?"

Jennie shot her a glare. "She likes books."

"Yeah, but for a gift? It's boring."

Rolling her eyes, Jennie shifted her purse strap on her shoulder and looked at Jisoo. "You have a better suggestion?"

Jisoo shifted back and forth on her heels first. "Rosé says that Lisa's been wanting to visit New Zealand - why not buy tickets. Infact we can all go. Rosé's been bugging me for an out of town trip as well."

"That's actually quite brilliant. Why didn't I think of that?"

Snorting, Jisoo followed her back out of the bookstore and towards the ice cream parlor. Ice cream cones in hand the two of them sat at the table by the window and started looking for flights, after Jisoo ahd called Rosé and hot the okay from her. After ice cream and booking their flights, Jisoo had to go and meet someone for a meeting leaving Jennie alone to shop some more.

She tried to purchased a risqué little number for Lisa to unwrap off of her as anothe present, knowing her penchat for sex on holidays. She browsed around the lingerie section on one of the stores, unimpressed with was she was finding. Circling the rack, she moved to the next one, her hands shuffling through the hangers.

"It was my experience that Lisa didn't like bells and whistles...and believe me when I say there were numerous experiences, if you know what I mean."

Startled, Jennie turned and saw Hieora - one of their friends back in Korea - standing behind her with a smirk on her face. "Uh yes, well, I mean, she seems to enjoy it now." Why does this keep happening to me? She thought to herself as she continued browsing throught the rack.

Scoffing, Hieora began to browse the lingerie Jennie just finished looking at, holding out a peach colored lingerie. "It's not really your color." She mused as she put it back.

"Really, Hieora?" Jennie said sarcastically.

"Just trying to help," Hieora replied, feigning innocence. "I didn't realize you were still so touchy. You should really learn how to relax. I can't imagine being uptight like that is any fun - especially for Lisa."

Jennie sighed and glared at her. "Can I help you?" She finally asked, her tone not friendly at all.

"I'm assuming you're looking for something special for Lisa's birthday." Hieora said holding up a green lace nightgown infront of Jennie. "Cute, but not really your color." She hung the nightgown back up and stared at Jennie.

"This isn't a matter of your concern!" Jennie hissed.

"Calm down," Hieora retorted. "No need to go all crazy. People will stare."

Shifting the strap of her purse high in her shoulders, she glared at Hieora one more time before leaving the shop, refusing to dignify anything Hieora had left to say. If her intention was to get under her skin, she was successful. She hastily left the mall and drove home. Eun-woo is with her mom, she insisted on taking him out today and would bring him back in time for dinner. She went straight to their bedroom, tossing her purse onto the cabinet and changing her clothes before crawling into bed, hugging Lisa's pillow. She inhaled Lisa's scent as she began to calm down.
