"And why can't we do the party together?"
"Because we can't! I have been planning this moment since we were kids and I'm not letting you crash it!"
"I think we should all go out together as a group because it's not about us - it's about them!"
"It's about them separately - and I've already paid for the entertainment!"
"Entertainment?"
"Yes! Entertainment! Strippers! And we can't have strippers if you girls are there ruining the fun!"
"Lisa is a girl! Rosé is a girl! Idiot! And if you think I'm letting my fiancé near strippers you better think again Bambam!"
Jennie and Lisa sat next to each other on the couch while Bambam and Jisoo screamed at each other, each of them ready to jam their foot into the other's throat at any moment. The hen and sten ( a combination of hen and stag party according to Bambam) night had become a hot source of contention as of late and Lisa, Jennie and Rosé were expecting to come to blows between the best man and Jennie's maid of honor any day now...today appearing to be the day. They were just glad that it was a weekday and Eun-woo is in daycare.
"Who do you think is going to win?" Lisa whispered in Jennie's ear.
"I'm not sure." Jennie whipered back. "But strippers? It's a bit tacky."
Lisa chuckled silently. "It's Bam." She whispered. "It's the part he's most excited about."
"It's a sta- sten! Sten party!" Bambam bellowed at Jisoo. "And there's only one rule when planning a sten party - and the rule is there are no rules! Which means you and you crazy Jisoo ways need to leave me and my party alone!"
"You haven't even begn to see crazy yet, Bhuwakul."
Bambam flinched at the mention of his name.
Jisoo's face was red with fury. "Your group has Rosé, Suk-ku, you and Lisa - Jennie and I don't even know other girls other than those two!" She pointed at Lisa and Jennie.
"Ask Wendy to go!" Bambam shouted before taking it back. "Oh wait - she's out of town that weekend."
"Exactly! Wait - how do you know that Wendy's out of town that weekend?"
Bambam began to stutter. "I don't. I didn't. Wait. Fuck. No - never mind how I fucking know - the only thing you need to know is that you are not making this one big party!"
Lisa grabbed Jennie's hand and inconspicuously and ledbher quietly out of the living room and towards the stairs, leaving Bambam and Jisoo to their fight. Slipping into their bedroom, Lisa shut the door the door behind them and locked it. Jennie threw herself onto the bed, groaning as shel lay on her back. "I can talk Jisoo into seperate parties. I didn't realize it would wind up being just me and her. Personally, I'm fine without a party. You know, been there done that. But I want you to have a 'sten' night."
"Really? You don't want a hen night?"
"Nah. As long as you promise to be on the other end of the aisle. I'm good."
"Oh I will be. I promise." Lisa leaned in to kiss her. "Where's Alison? Why don't you invite her, not for a hen night, just for dinner, or a spa night."
"Her sister is having a baby shower that weekend," Jennie replied. "Wendy's out of town - though Jisoo had a point - how would Bambam know?"
Lisa but his lips together. "If I tell you something you have to promise not to tell Bambam I told you."
Jennie propped herself up on her elbows. "Has he been seeing Wendy?!"
"Quietly, yes." Lisa confessed.
