Johnnie was extremely anxious today, he has to get his wisdom teeth removed. He was sitting on the couch, twiddling his thumbs.

Jake sat down next to him, and immediately noticed how nervous he looked.

“Hey… what’s wrong? You’re all anxious.” He asked, looking at Johnnie with a concerned expression.

"We have to take me to my dentist appointment in 30 minutes!" Johnnie exclaimed.

“Oh, I forgot about that.”
Jake chuckled softly, gently placing a hand on Johnnie’s shoulder.
“You’ll be okay, I promise. You’re gonna be fine.” He reassured him, trying to ease his nerves.

Johnnie bit the inside of his cheek. "I'm horrified, dude. I have to get my wisdom teeth removed."

Jake could see how scared Johnnie was, and it made his heart ache. He pulled him closer, wrapping an arm around him.“Hey, hey… I know it’s scary, but you’re strong. You can handle it. And I’ll be there with you the whole time.” He said softly, rubbing his back in a comforting manner.

The time came around, and Jake has to drive him there. Johnnie was slipping on his boots, his hands visibly shaking.

Jake watched as Johnnie struggled to tie his boots, his hands shaking with nerves. He couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for him.

“Here, let me help you.” Jake said, gently taking the laces from him and tying them for him.

Johnnie blushed a bit from the sudden kindness. "Dude, I'm so fucking scared."

Jake chuckled softly, standing up once he was done tying his shoes.“I know you are. But I’m here, and I promise I won’t leave your side. We’ll get through this together, okay?” He said, ruffling Johnnie’s hair gently.

"Mhm," Johnnie hummed in response. The two walk out of the house and towards the tesla outside.

Jake opened the passenger door for Johnnie, helping him get into the car. He then got into the driver’s seat and started it.

“Just take some deep breaths, alright? We’re gonna be there soon, and it’ll all be over before you know it.” He said, glancing over at Johnnie before pulling out of the driveway.

"Dude! I'm fucking horrified! I have been pushing this away for so long but my mouth has been hurting so damn much." Johnnie responded.

Jake chuckled softly, trying to lighten the mood.“I know, I know. But you really should have gotten this done a long time ago. It’s not gonna be pleasant, but it’s better than living with constant pain, right?"

"Yeah, i guess...." Johnnie responded as they arrived at the dentist office. Immediately the emo started whining, "NONONO!! DUDE TURN ME AROUND!"

Jake couldn’t help but laugh as Johnnie started to whine. He parked the car and turned to him, trying to hide his amusement.“We’re already here, man. You can’t back out now.”

Johnnie whined more, "NOOOOOOO PLEASE, WE- WE CAN JUST DITCH THIS SHIT, C'MON MAN."

Jake sighed, but he couldn’t help but find Johnnie’s pleading adorable. He reached over and gently patted his knee.“No, we’re not ditching. You need this, and I promised I’d be here for you. So let’s just go in and get it over with, okay?”
