Johnnie is seated in the passenger seat of Jake's Tesla. His head turned as he was taking in the atmosphere.

"Babe..." He groaned, as he turned his head to look at Jake. "Don't tell me we're going to that haunted bridge."

Jake chuckled, keeping his eyes on the road.“Come on, it’ll be fun! I promise.” He said with a grin.

"Babe...! " Johnnie whined again, already not liking the idea. He shakes his head as he looked back out the carwindow.

Jake rolled his eyes playfully, reaching over to give Johnnie’s thigh a gentle squeeze.“You’re being a big baby. I’ll protect you, okay?”

Johnnie smiled a bit. "Fine." He replied, keeping his emo gaze outside the car window as the area around them becomes more forestry.

Jake continued driving, the silence in the car only being interrupted by the sound of the radio.

As they approached the bridge, the trees grew thicker and the road became darker. The air felt eerie and Jake could sense Johnnie’s discomfort.

Johnnie felt a wave of anxiety as they reached the bridge. He is fidgeting the rings on his fingers.

Jake noticed Johnnie’s fidgeting and reached over to hold his hand.
“Hey, it’s okay. We don’t have to get out of the car if you don’t want to.” He said, giving Johnnie’s hand a reassuring squeeze.

"No, this was your idea, and i think we should keep going and explore it." Johnnie replied as he lets go of Jake's hand and opened the car door.

Jake watched as Johnnie opened the door and got out of the car. He took a deep breath, trying to shake off his own uneasiness.

“Alright, let’s do this.” He said, stepping out of the car and walking over to Johnnie.

Johnnie shivered as he shuts the door. "It's fucking cold out here. Did you bring the cigarettes?"

Jake reached into his pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes.
“Of course I did. You think I’d forget?” He said with a smirk, offering one to Johnnie.

"Thanks babe," Johnnie takes one out of the pack and grabbed the lighter from his back pocket.

Jake watched as Johnnie lit the cigarette and took a drag. He couldn’t help but admire the way Johnnie looked, even in the dim lighting of the bridge.“You look cute.” He said with a smirk, leaning against the car.

Johnnie rolled his eyes, he exhaled the smoke into Jake's face. "Did you bring the flashlight?"

Jake chuckled as the smoke hit his face, waving it away playfully.
“Yeah, I did. It’s in the trunk.” He said, pushing himself off the car and walking towards the trunk to retrieve the flashlight.

"Here hon," Johnnie offered the cigarette for Jake.

Jake took the cigarette from Johnnie, taking a deep drag as he turned on the flashlight.“Thanks, love.” He said, exhaling the smoke and shining the flashlight around the bridge.

Johnnie takes the cigarette back, taking drags as the two are walking together towards the bridge.

They walked along the bridge, the only sound being the crunch of leaves beneath their feet and the occasional whistle of the wind.

Jake kept the flashlight pointed ahead, illuminating the path in front of them. He glanced over at Johnnie, who was still smoking.“You sure you’re not scared?” He asked, a hint of concern in his voice.
