Jake has Tara over, an arm around her shoulder as she is laughing and smiling. Tara is wearing Jake's sweater, as it was oversized on her.

Johnnie was watching the couple with jealousy and heartbreak.

He wishes Jake loved him.

Johnnie watched Jake and Tara together, feeling a pang of jealousy and sadness. He knew he had no chance with Jake, but he couldn't help but wish things were different.

He tried to distract himself by looking at the items on the shelves, but his eyes kept drifting back to the couple. He felt a lump form in his throat as he saw Jake whisper something in Tara's ear, causing her to giggle.

Jake pulled Tara onto his lap. Rubbing her back that is covered by Jake's sweater that she is wearing, a classic comfy striped sweater.

Johnnie's heart sank as he saw Jake pull Tara onto his lap. He couldn't help but feel envious of the way Jake touched her, the way he looked at her with affection and care.

He tried to ignore the feelings bubbling up inside him, but it was becoming increasingly difficult. He felt like an outsider, watching from the sidelines as Jake gave all his love and attention to someone else.

Johnnie felt like he couldn't take it anymore. Seeing Jake and Tara together was just too much for him to handle. The pain in his heart was unbearable, and he needed to get away.

He walked away from the couple, trying to find a secluded spot where he could be alone and gather his thoughts.

Johnnie slammed the door behind him, tears streaming down his face. He felt a mix of sadness, frustration, and anger.

He couldn't understand why Jake didn't love him back, why he had to fall for someone who was already taken. He collapsed onto his bed, burying his face in a pillow as he let out a sob.

Tara noticed Johnnie left the living room, she looked up at Jake. "Is he okay?" She asked. Jake shrugged, "I dunno?"

Jake looked up from Tara's shoulder, noticing that Johnnie had left."I'll go check on him."He gently lifted Tara off his lap and stood up, heading towards Johnnie's room.

"Johnnie?" Jake called as he went upstairs. He knocked on the door. "Hey man, you alright?"

Johnnie was still lying on his bed, trying to compose himself. He heard Jake's voice and knew he had to respond. He took a deep breath and sat up, wiping the tears from his face before answering.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He said, trying to sound nonchalant.

"You sure?" Jake asked as he leaned against the door.

Johnnie forced a smile, trying to sound convincing."I'm fine, really. I just needed a moment alone, that's all."

"Oh okay, well Tara is gonna be over for dinner. I ordered us Wingstop." Jake said.

Johnnie's heart sank at the mention of Tara again. He didn't want to see her, not after everything he had just witnessed."Oh, okay." He said, trying to sound indifferent."I'll be down in a minute."

"Ok!" Jake beamed as he walked off. It went over his head, he's use to Johnnie being in his room all the time so he saw this as no different.

Johnnie let out a sigh as Jake left the room. He knew he had to pull himself together and go downstairs, but the thought of having to see Tara and Jake together again made him feel sick.
