For the past few months, Johnnie has been healing each day from the trauma and abuse he has gotten from his ex-boyfriend Carrington.

Johnnie walked up behind Jake, and hugged him from behind. Happy that he's in a healthy relationship with Jake.

Jake smiled, feeling Johnnie hug him from behind. He gently placed his hands on Johnnie's, squeezing them lightly.

"I've missed you," Jake said, his voice gentle and loving. "How's your day been?"

"Sorry, i was out at a podcast today." Johnnie pecked Jake's cheek. "I'm doing better," Hinting at the traumatic past he had endured.

Jake chuckled softly as Johnnie pecked his cheek, his heart warming at the affectionate gesture.

He knew about Johnnie's past, and hearing him say he was doing better brought a sense of relief to him.

"A podcast, huh? Sounds interesting," Jake said, turning around to face Johnnie. He gently cupped Johnnie's face in his hands, looking into his eyes. "I'm glad you're doing better. You know you can talk to me about anything, right?"

"Mhm, it's just been rough." Johnnie leaned into the touch, but this time without hesitation.

Jake nodded understandingly, gently rubbing his thumbs over Johnnie's cheeks.

"I know it's been rough," he said softly. "But you're strong, and you've come so far. I'm proud of you, Johnnie."
He leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to Johnnie's forehead.

Johnnie didn't flinch, he didn't apologize, he just smiled when he felt the forehead kiss.

Jake smiled as well, feeling a sense of relief that Johnnie didn't flinch or apologize. He was happy to see that Johnnie was comfortable enough to accept his affection without any hesitation.He wrapped his arms around Johnnie, pulling him into a warm embrace.

Johnnie returned the hug, "I've been trying that therapy for the past few months that you suggested and its actually helping me."

Jake tightened his embrace, feeling a sense of pride and happiness for Johnnie.
"That's great to hear, love," he said, his voice filled with warmth. "I'm so glad the therapy is helping you. You deserve to feel better and to work through your trauma."

Johnnie nodded, he pulled back and looked at Jake with a smile. "In fact today i went to my last session after the podcast, she said i was ready."

Jake's eyes widened in surprise and joy.
"Really? You're done with therapy?" he asked, a smile spreading across his face. "That's amazing, Johnnie! I'm so proud of you for completing it. How do you feel now that you're done?"

Johnnie shrugged, "A bit weird, but.. i think I'm in a better headspace." He kissed Jake softly.

Jake returned the kiss, feeling a sense of relief and happiness wash over him.
"That's completely normal," he said, gently stroking Johnnie's hair. "It can feel weird to not have that structure and routine anymore, but I'm glad you're in a better headspace. And you know I'm always here for you, no matter what."
