Johnnie quietly sneaks up behind Jake in the kitchen. He hugged his boyfriend from behind.

Jake was making some food when he felt arms wrap around him from behind.
He chuckled softly and turned around in his arms, looking down at Johnnie with a smile.

"Hey, you.." he said, wrapping his arms around Johnnie's waist and pulling him closer.

Johnnie smiled warmly. "Hi babe," He kissed Jake's cheek. "What's for dinner tonight? You're actually cooking?" He snickers as he watches Jake go back to cooking.

"Heyyy, I can cook!" Jake protested with a pout, although he knew that Johnnie was teasing him."I'm making spaghetti.." he said, stirring the sauce in the pot on the stove.

Johnnie hugged him from behind. Resting his chin on Jake's shoulder. "Sounds yummy, baby."

Jake chuckled again and continued to cook, enjoying the feeling of Johnnie hugging him from behind.

"I hope it tastes good.. I haven't cooked in a while.." he said, turning his head to kiss the top of Johnnie's head.

"Yeah, we have been having non-stop doordash for weeks." Johnnie giggles as he kisses Jake's cheek. "I'm gonna set the table." As he walks off.

Jake nodded and watched as Johnnie walked away to set the table.

He finished cooking the spaghetti and drained the water, then started to dish it out onto two plates. He grabbed the sauce and brought it over to the table as well, setting it down next to the plates.

"Food's ready!" He called out to Johnnie.

The table was nicely set up with the silverware, napkins and a candle in the center with a bouquet of red and black roses.

Jake smiled as he looked at the table, impressed with how nicely Johnnie had set it up.

He sat down at the table and looked at the roses. "These are nice.. did you get them?" he asked, gesturing to the bouquet.

Johnnie blushed with a nod. "I got them earlier from the store and i wanted to surprise you."

He kissed Jake's cheek as he went to the fridge, "Forgot something!" He beamed as he grabbed the bottle of wine. He walked over to the table and sets it down. Then grabbed two wine glasses and set them down too.

Jake watched as Johnnie brought out the wine and glasses, a smile on his face.
"You're spoiling me, you know that?" he said, reaching out to take one of the wine glasses. "This is really nice.."

Johnnie sits down at the table across from his lover. He opened the bottle and poured some wine for Jake and himself.

Jake watched as Johnnie poured the wine, his eyes never leaving his boyfriend's face.

"You're amazing, you know that?" he said softly, taking a sip of his wine. "I'm so lucky to have you."

"No, I'm the lucky one. I'm a lucky boy." Johnnie replied as he began to sauce his noodles and then eat the spaghetti.

Jake chuckled and started to eat his own spaghetti, watching as Johnnie began to eat.

"I'm the luckiest man alive, to have a beautiful boyfriend that is so cute and buys me flowers.." he said with a smile, reaching out to hold Johnnie's hand across the table.

Johnnie smiled, "Yeah? and you're an excellent cook.. well, off the Internet of course." He started to laugh.

Jake rolled his eyes playfully at Johnnie's comment, but couldn't help but laugh as well.
