Johnnie was on his phone, mindlessly scrolling before he lifted his head up and noticed Jake was standing there.

A grin rises on his face as he lowered his phone, "Got a staring problem?" He asked.

Jake’s cheeks turned a light pink color as he looked at Johnnie, “You know damn well I don’t have a staring problem, smartass.”

"Oh yeah? Then why are you looking at me?" Johnnie got off the couch and looked at Jake.

Jake smiled, “Because you’re cute and I like looking at you, idiot.” He said, gently poking Johnnie’s cheek.

Johnnie rolled his eyes, he grabbed Jake's hand. Pulling the taller down to his height. His lips whispered in Jake's ear, "I think you just got a staring problem."

Jake chuckled, letting Johnnie pull him down to his level. He placed a hand on Johnnie’s waist, he whispered back, his voice low and quiet, “I just like looking at you.”

Johnnie grabbed Jake's jaw and lightly squeezed it as they make eye contact. "You know, you're hot up close." He replied, flirtatious.

Jake’s cheeks flushed a deep red, his heart racing as Johnnie grabbed his jaw. He couldn’t help but smile at the compliment, “Yeah?” he said, his voice still quiet.

"Shut up," Johnnie said as his eyes are admiring Jake's face.

“You shut up,” Jake replied, grinning at Johnnie. He slowly moved his hand up from Johnnie’s waist to his cheek, gently caressing it with his thumb.

Johnnie smiled at the touch, before he grabbed both of Jake's hands and squeezed them.

Jake’s heart fluttered as Johnnie squeezed his hands. He loved the feeling of Johnnie’s hands in his own, and he couldn’t help but smile back at him.

“You know, you’re cute when you smile,” he said, gently intertwining their fingers.

"Hey, I'm the one giving compliments here." Johnnie sassily replied, "So if i were you, I'd shut up."

Jake smirked, “You know what, you’re a brat.” he said playfully, gently poking Johnnie’s nose.

Johnnie grabbed Jake's wrist in a quick motion. He leaned in close, lips inches away from Jake's.

Before he grabbed Jake's jaw again. "I'm a sassy bitch," He replied, "Get it fucking right, got me?" As he glances at Jake's lips before letting out a sassy sigh and letting go. Walking out of the room and up the stairs.

Jake’s heart skipped a beat as Johnnie grabbed his wrist, and he couldn’t help but feel a shiver run down his spine as Johnnie leaned in close to him. He watched as Johnnie walked away, a mix of surprise and amusement on his face.

“Damn, you’re feisty today…” he muttered under his breath, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

Jake quickly followed Johnnie up the stairs, catching up to him just as he reached the top. He gently grabbed his arm, spinning him around to face him.

“Hey, where do you think you’re going?” he asked, a playful tone in his voice.

Johnnie fakes his innocence, "Hi, Jake. What do you want?" Before he grows a sassy grin across his face.

Jake chuckled at Johnnie’s fake innocence, “Oh, don’t give me that look,” he said, stepping closer to him. “You know exactly what I want.”

"Aww," Johnnie wrapped his arms around Jake's neck. "You're so cute, you know that? I never realized how cute you actually are up close.."

Jake blushed again, feeling his heart skip a beat as Johnnie wrapped his arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around Johnnie’s waist, pulling him closer.

“Shut up,” he said, but there was no malice in his voice. In fact, he was secretly enjoying the compliment. “You’re the cute one here.”

Johnnie couldn't help but blush. "Oh? and how am i the cute one?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.

Jake smiled, his hands gently rubbing Johnnie’s sides. “Well, for starters, you have the cutest little pout when you’re annoyed,” he said, leaning in closer to Johnnie. “And the way your eyes sparkle when you’re excited about something is adorable. And don’t even get me started on your smile…”

Johnnie started to feel his sassiness slipping off and being replaced with flustered blushing.

Jake noticed the change in Johnnie’s demeanor, and a smirk appeared on his face. “Oh, look at that. I’ve rendered you speechless,” he teased, gently booping Johnnie’s nose.

"Oh shut up," Johnnie repeated as he grabbed Jake's jaw and pulled his face closer.

Jake chuckled, “Make me,” he said, his voice low. He leaned in closer, their faces just inches apart.

"Okay," Johnnie says in an unnerving innocence before he connected his lips with Jake's.

Jake was taken by surprise for a moment, but quickly melted into the kiss. He wrapped his arms tighter around Johnnie, pulling him closer as he deepened the kiss.

Johnnie pulled back, "Don't get too eager, handsome man." As he trailed his pointer finger down Jake's chest before he turned around and sassily walked away.

Leaving Jake flustered in the hallway.

Jake watched as Johnnie walked away, his heart racing and his mind reeling. He was left standing there, flustered and speechless, his hand resting on the spot where Johnnie had trailed his finger.

“Damn it…” he muttered to himself, shaking his head in disbelief.

“That little brat…”

Jake stood there for a moment longer, trying to compose himself. He couldn’t believe how easily Johnnie had gotten under his skin.

He was a mix of annoyed and amused, but he couldn’t deny the fact that he was completely enamored by the sassy brat.

With a sigh, he headed back downstairs, still thinking about the kiss they shared and the way Johnnie had walked away so casually.
