Tw: g0re, fear and anxiety, discussing death and suicide.

Jake was sitting at the gravestone of Johnnie Guilbert. A monotoned expression on his face. Ever since Johnnie has committed suicide, - nothing has been the same.

A thunderstorm is clashing outside, rain is soaking Jake's hair and his tear stained face. He placed his hand on Johnnie's gravestone.

"If only I could see you, one last time."

He said before he got up and headed home, his heartbroken.

As Jake walked, a soft breeze gently caressed his face, carrying with it the scent of rain and the faintest hint of Johnnie's cologne. The scent was so faint that it was almost imperceptible, but it tugged at Jake's heartstrings nonetheless.

Johnnie, now a zombie, emerged from his grave, his decaying body crawling out of the earth. His eyes were hollow and lifeless, his skin pale and rotting.

Jake was still walking out of the graveyard and that's when Johnnie notices Jake's presence.

Johnnie's gaze fixated on Jake, and a spark of recognition flashed in his empty eyes. He stumbled forward, his movements unsteady and awkward.

Like a puppet being pulled by invisible strings. He let out a low, guttural groan, trying to communicate something to Jake.

The punk stopped in his tracts. He heard the sound. It didn't sound like the thunderstorm, since the storm had passed and it was just a soft rain now.

"Hello?" Jake called as he clicked on his phone flashlight. Shining it through the darkness of the graveyard.

The light from Jake's flashlight illuminated the area, casting eerie shadows on the tombstones.

Johnnie's decaying body became more visible, his clothes torn and dirty, and his face partially obscured by strands of long, tangled hair.

He stumbled closer to Jake, his movements slow and deliberate. He let out another groan, this time louder and more insistent, as if trying to get Jake's attention.

Jake dropped his phone in surprise. He started to back-up in fear. He couldn't believe what he was seeing!

He gasped as he stumbled backwards. His body was clumsy - he landed on the ground of the grass and dirt that is damp from the rainwater.

Johnnie, seeing Jake stumble and fall, took advantage of the situation. He continued to approach Jake, his movements becoming more determined.

He reached out a decaying hand towards Jake, his touch cold and clammy.

He let out another guttural sound, this time almost like a growl, as if he was trying to communicate something to Jake.

Jake was scrambling himself backwards on his hands and feet. His breathing picking up the pace in a panic. His brown eyes wide with shock.

Johnnie's pace quickened as he closed the distance between them. He loomed over Jake, his empty eyes fixed on the panicked man.

He reached out again, his hand grabbing at Jake's shirt, his grip surprisingly strong for a zombie.

Jake exclaimed, "Johnnie?!" In fear as he was frozen in place now. A lump of anxiety filled his throat. Beads of sweat formed on his head as his hair stuck to it.

He was frozen in disbelief. He couldn't believe this, - the man that he once made collaboration videos with, - the man who made his days brighter - is right in front of him as a decaying zombie.
