Under the soft and bright light emitted by the crystal chandelier, Taehyung's long eyelashes finally trembled after experiencing a long and complicated alternation of emotions.
It was like pressing the restart button, and everything that was about to come to a standstill came alive again.
When Taehyung raised his eyes, his black pupils looked straight at her. Those pupils, as black as thick ink, carried the power to penetrate everything.
He slowly raised his hand and took the ring from Jisoo's hand.
When Taehyung held the ring, his fingertips trembled slightly. Such a small ring, but in his hand, it felt unsteady.
Jisoo didn't say anything else, just waited quietly.
Until Taehyung reached out and was about to hold her hand, he suddenly raised his eyelids and said in a low and hoarse voice, "At this time, shouldn't I kneel down on one knee and put it on for you?"
Jisoo: "..."There is no need to be so grand.
She stared at Taehyung's face, and it was hard for her to imagine what it looked like for such a proud and arrogant person to kneel on one knee in front of her.
The living room was quiet.
Taehyung's originally cold and sharp eyebrows were now enveloped in bright light, softening a little. He looked at Jisoo, and although his voice was not as low and hoarse, it was still slow, "It's just that we don't seem to have a sense of ceremony every time. Every time we are so hurried, kneeling on one knee, it seems that we shouldn't be so hasty."
He didn't want to be in a hurry all the time. Every turn they made seemed filled with haste and uncertainty.
So he said solemnly and seriously, "So, I'll owe you this time."
Jisoo chuckled.
There was still something to be said about this, but she didn't dare to complain out loud, for fear that Taehyung would really kneel down on the spot.
This time, Taehyung gently took her hand and put the simple and elegant wedding ring firmly on the ring finger of her left hand. The clean-cut ring shone with a faint silver light.
They both lowered their heads and looked at the ring on her hand.
"Isn't it too ordinary?" Taehyung suddenly asked in a low voice.
This ring was not specially designed and customized by them, but was from the brand's high-end jewelry series. Although it was high-end jewelry, it was not unique.
In fact, Taehyung had asked people to buy diamonds a long time ago, whether from auctions or from major brands, but he had never found a diamond or style that he liked.
