As Mitsuri arrived at Misaki's house, she pushed open the door and was immediately greeted by a wave of music and light. The throbbing bass of "Edamame" by Bbno$ played loudly, with the living room transformed into a vibrant dance floor. Neon lights flickered in sync with the beat, casting electric blues and fiery reds across the walls and ceiling. The place was packed—bodies swayed and moved to the rhythm, laughter and cheers merging with the music in the lively atmosphere. Mitsuri scanned the room, taking in the scene while looking for Misaki. Not long after, she spotted her dancing with a guy amidst the crowd. Holding the bowl of rice she brought, Mitsuri waved at Misaki, who excused herself from the dance floor and headed toward her, leaving the guy behind.

"OMG, girl! I'm so glad you made it!" Misaki squealed, hugging her tightly.

"Of course! I wouldn't miss it!" Mitsuri hugged her back with one arm, carefully holding the rice with the other.

"Aww, you're the best! The kitchen's this way." Misaki led her through the entryway into the kitchen, where a few people stood around, chatting and drinking, away from the main dance floor. Mitsuri set the rice bowl on the counter and opened it.

"Ah, this smells so good! Thanks for making it!" Misaki grabbed a spoon from the drawer and immediately took a bite.

"Of course," Mitsuri replied, removing her jacket and draping it over her arm.

From the corner of her eye, Mitsuri noticed Misaki calling someone over from where they were sitting with Rengoku and Sanemi. Turning, Mitsuri's heart skipped a beat—it was Iguro. He stood up and walked toward them. Mitsuri felt frozen, unable to tear her eyes away from him. His outfit was simple yet gave off a mysterious, attractive vibe—just a black short-sleeved T-shirt that showed off his muscular arms and intricate swirl tattoo, paired with skinny black jeans held by a double-buckle canvas belt, and black combat boots. His hair was tied back in a ponytail, revealing his piercings, and his sharp, cold eyes stayed glued to hers.

"Someone wants to say something to you," Misaki teased, closing the bowl of rice before heading back to the dance floor as "Please Don't Stop the Music" by Rihanna started playing.

Mitsuri pretended to fuss with the rice, avoiding Iguro's gaze, but the weight of his stare made her heart race in a way that felt both exciting and nerve-wracking.

"Hey," Iguro started, leaning casually against the counter.

"H-Hey," Mitsuri replied with a nervous smile, trying to keep her composure. 'Why are you so nervous? He's just a regular guy. So why are you so attracted to him?' she thought to herself.

Iguro glanced at her from the corner of his eye, then looked ahead toward the dance floor. His heart raced too, but he kept his cool this time. "I'm sorry about what happened last time. I don't know what came over me—I didn't mean to scare you or make you cry."

Mitsuri's nerves eased at the sound of his soft, low voice. She smiled, her shoulders relaxing as she looked at the dance floor as well, her hands clasped in front of her to stay grounded. "No worries, I wasn't myself that day either. Sorry you had to see me like that."

Iguro chuckled softly, flashing a smile. "I get it. Anyway, let me introduce myself properly. I'm Obanai Iguro." He extended his hand for a shake.

Mitsuri shook his hand, introducing herself as well. "Mitsuri Kanroji, nice to meet you."
