The clock read 6 p.m., and the room was bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun peeking through the curtains. Obanai stirred slightly but remained still, savoring the warmth of Mitsuri nestled in his arms. They had slept the day away, tangled in each other after the emotional storm of her return, heartfelt conversations, and the wild passion that followed. His body ached in the best possible way, but it was his heart that felt the fullest.

The shrill sound of his phone alarm pierced the serene moment, and Obanai groaned in frustration, his brow furrowing. It was time for work, but leaving her was the last thing he wanted to do. With a sigh, he reached over to silence the alarm and let his hand fall back against the mattress. His eyes fixed on the ceiling for a moment, but the soft sound of her breathing quickly drew him back to her.

Turning his head, Obanai took in the sight of Mitsuri sleeping peacefully beside him. She lay on her side, facing him, her beautiful features relaxed and framed by the wild waves of her pink and green hair. The rise and fall of her chest was soothing, and his gaze traveled over her hourglass figure, admiring the way her body fit so perfectly against his. His scratches and hickeys marred her delicate skin, little red marks dotting her neck, shoulders, and thighs. It made his chest swell with pride and possessiveness—she was his, and the marks were a reminder that no one else could have her.

His eyes drifted lower, down to her hips, and a thought struck him like lightning. His body tensed, and his mind raced. Quietly, he slipped out of bed, careful not to disturb her. He dressed quickly, pulling on the clothes he'd remove so carelessly earlier, and with one last glance at her peaceful form, he hurried out of the apartment.

Twenty minutes later, Obanai returned, holding a small plastic bag from the pharmacy. He closed the door softly behind him and walked into the bedroom, only to stop dead in his tracks.

Mitsuri had shifted in her sleep, sprawled out across the bed with not a care in the world. The blankets had slipped away, leaving her naked body on full display, bathed in the golden light of the setting sun. Obanai froze, a hand flying to his nose as he felt the unmistakable warmth of a nosebleed threatening to trickle down.

He swallowed hard, his face flushed, and averted his gaze briefly to collect himself. Then, with a soft chuckle, he moved to her side and gently draped the blanket over her. She stirred slightly, her lashes fluttering, and Obanai sat on the edge of the bed, brushing her hair away from her face.

"Good morning—well, evening, I guess," she murmured, her voice soft and teasing.

"Evening," he replied with a rare, tender smile. "I didn't want to wake you, but I couldn't leave without making sure you were okay."

Her gaze softened further, her cheeks dusted pink. "You're sweet, Obanai. I'm okay... just a little sore," she admitted shyly, her fingers brushing the marks on her neck and collarbone.

His smirk returned, though his golden eye held genuine concern. "Good. You're supposed to be sore," he teased, his voice low and playful. He held up the bag he'd brought and added, "But I figured you might need a little extra care."

Mitsuri's curiosity piqued as she sat up, clutching the blanket to her chest. She peeked into the bag, her eyes lighting up at the assortment of her favorite snacks. "You remembered!" she exclaimed, holding up a bag of her favorite candy.

"Of course, I did," he replied, looking slightly smug. "I don't have much snacks here so I thought I'd buy some in the mean time."

Her smile faltered as she noticed the small box at the bottom of the bag. She pulled out the Plan B pill, her cheeks turning crimson as she glanced at him. "Oh... I, um... I forgot about that," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
