Later That Day

Rengoku left and headed back to his family's home, while the rest remained. From the kitchen, Iguro cooked a simple meal: chicken fried rice with a ginger salad. Surprisingly, he was really good at cooking—it was one of his hobbies. While Sanemi showered, Kanae and Mitsuri sat in the living room, chatting about what had happened the night before. Iguro occasionally glanced over at the girls, listening to their conversation. As Mitsuri explained the events, he felt his blood begin to boil again. He thought about the connections between Mitsuri's ex and Misaki and couldn't help but wonder if it was all a setup.

"I'm sorry you went through that... I always knew something was off with that girl, but this doesn't make sense. How did two people who never even talked end up in bed together? I mean, maybe they met at the party, but..." Kanae trailed off, trying to piece it together.

Mitsuri stayed quiet for a moment, then glanced at Iguro. He looked up and smiled at her with his eyes, reassuring her that everything would be okay. Mitsuri smiled back and blushed, trying to put the past behind her. "It doesn't matter anymore... I'm with Iguro now," she said softly. Hearing Mitsuri say that brought a smile to Iguro's face as well.

Kanae grinned and leaned in closer. "I know. You guys were pretty loud this morning when I arrived." Mitsuri's face turned bright red, while Iguro dropped a cup in the kitchen, shocked that Kanae had mentioned it. Kanae smirked, "So, was it good? It was your first time with him, right? Is he bi—?"

Before she could finish, Sanemi flicked her head. "Why are you so curious about another man's size? Not satisfied with mine?" he grumbled, slouching on the couch behind her, clearly annoyed by Kanae's conversation.

"Come on, it's just girl talk. This is what we do. Don't act like you guys don't talk about us the same way," Kanae shot back.

Sanemi rolled his eyes. "Iguro and I have an understanding—we don't talk about each other's girls."

"But you guys talk about other girls, right?" Kanae pressed.

"Yes, of course," Sanemi answered confidently.

From the kitchen, Iguro shook his head, already picturing the fury brewing in Kanae's expression. "Damn, nice knowing you, man," he thought, keeping his focus on the stove, trying to stay out of the impending argument.

"Is that true Iguro?" Mitsuri looked at him with a sad expression.

Iguro nervously waved his hand no. "I mean not anymore! I don't have a reason to look anymore, I have you".

Mitsuri giggled "I know I'm just teasing"

Kanae looked over at Sanemi. "Oh, really? And who exactly are these girls you like talking about?" Kanae asked, her face turning serious, immediately setting Sanemi off.

"Here we go again..." he muttered as he surfed through channels.

As the two bickered in the living room, Mitsuri quietly slipped into the kitchen and stood next to Iguro as he finished cooking. She didn't want to disturb him, so she stayed silent, observing him from behind. She glanced at the back of his neck, unable to stop imagining how his body looked underneath his clothes and craving to see it again. Iguro glanced back at her and smirked, causing her to quickly turn away, trying to hide her flushed face.

As the other two continued to bicker in the background, Iguro placed her plate on the table and his across from hers. "Have a seat. The food's ready," he said as he took his seat.

Mitsuri's eyes sparkled as she sat down at the table. She looked at Sanemi and Kanae, sitting in silence, still angry while watching TV. Leaning forward, she covered her mouth to whisper, "Are they always like that?"
