Chapter Song: Bruno Mars - "Marry You"
A/N - Hello, everyone! Chapters 113 and 114 are inspired by my husband's and my own experiences with our families and leading to our marriage day. While the chapters are woven into the story, I included some of what we went through during that time. A little background about us: we're a military family, and we had to hurry and get married. This is the story of how we got married. 💖💖💖

Later that night, Obanai and Mitsuri stepped out of the shower together, the warmth of the steam still lingering in the air. Mitsuri slipped into one of Obanai's oversized black shirts, the hem falling just above her thighs, and a pair of light pink panties. Obanai, meanwhile, settled into his comfortable black-and-white flannel pajama pants, opting to go commando underneath.
Mitsuri hummed softly as she made her way into the kitchen, starting dinner with a cheerful energy. Obanai sat at the dining table with his laptop, his damp hair tied back, his gaze focused on the screen as he typed away.
"What are you looking up, Obanai?" Mitsuri asked curiously, glancing over her shoulder as she stirred the pot on the stove.
He hesitated for a moment, scratching the back of his neck before responding. "I'm looking up the process for getting married," he admitted, his voice casual but laced with a hint of shyness.
Mitsuri froze mid-stir, her cheeks blooming a soft pink. "Oh?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly with excitement.
Obanai cleared his throat and continued, "Turns out, we just need two witnesses, and we can get married the same day we apply." His tone was matter-of-fact, but his eye's flickered with a mix of anticipation and nervousness.
Mitsuri gasped, her mind instantly racing. "Two witnesses? It has to be Kanae and Sanemi!" she exclaimed with a bright smile.
Obanai nodded. "That's what I was thinking," he said, a faint flush creeping up his neck. Then, after a pause, he glanced at her and shyly asked, "Do you... want to do it in a couple of days?"
Mitsuri spun around, her wide green eyes locking onto his. Her cheeks turned a deep shade of red as she stammered, "So soon?!"
Obanai nodded again, his expression soft but resolute. "Yeah. It's fine if not. I guess I'm just— excited to marry."
The shock quickly gave way to joy as Mitsuri nodded eagerly, her smile so wide it could light up the entire room. "Yes! Let's do it!" she said, her voice bubbling with excitement.
Abandoning her post at the stove, she turned the burner off before making her way over to Obanai. Without hesitation, she sat on his thigh, her legs dangling as she leaned into him. "Let's call them now!" she said, grabbing her phone and scrolling to Kanae's contact.
As the call connected, the screen lit up with Kanae's cheerful face. Behind her, Sanemi could be seen lounging shirtless on their couch, a glass of water in hand.
Obanai's brows furrowed slightly, a flicker of annoyance crossing his face. "Sanemi, put on a shirt," he said, his tone flat but carrying an edge of possessiveness. "Mitsuri doesn't need to see that."
Sanemi raised an eyebrow, slightly annoyed. "Why don't you shut up and put on one yourself?" he shot back, smirking as he gestured vaguely toward Obanai's bare chest.
The two men exchanged a moment of light-hearted glares before both letting out low chuckles. The tension dissipated as quickly as it had come, leaving the girls staring at them with matching looks of confusion.
"Boys..." Mitsuri muttered, shaking her head with a giggle. Kanae mirrored her expression, a soft laugh escaping her lips. "Anyway, what's up?" Kanae asked, still amused.
