This chapter takes place at some point during Mitsuri's Family Hot Spring. Wasn't able to add this as a regular chapter, so I decided to make a mini chapter. You do have to listen to "Mugen" by My First Story, HYDE and "Gurenge" by Lisa while reading since the entire lyrics is on this chapter 🤭enjoy! You don't have too but I thought it was funny.

The group was lounging in the cozy karaoke room, surrounded by plush cushions and a table piled with snacks and liquor. The atmosphere was warm and slightly chaotic. Mitsuri's face lit up with excitement as she flipped through the karaoke song menu. The boys sat while drank their beers while talking about the latest episode of Dan Da Dan.

Mitsuri: "Okay, everyone! We have to make this karaoke session unforgettable! Hows everyone skills in speaking Japanese?"

The room stood quiet as they looked at her confused. Sanemi looked back at Obanai as he facepalm in slight embarrassment.

"Good I assume, but let's make it interesting. Boys versus girls, tag-team style." Kanae stood next to Mitsuri as she pointed at the boys

"Do we really have to do this? Can't we just sit here and... not sing?" Obanai slouched back annoyed

"Yeah, I don't see why we need to humiliate ourselves." Sanemi said as he chugged his beer.

"Come on, Obi! It'll be fun! You're always so quiet—you should let loose for once! Show them how loud you really get" Mitsuri teased as she tugged Obanai sleeve.

Kanae added fuel to the fire, pouring everyone a glass of sake. "A little drink might help loosen you up, Sanemi. Unless you're too scared?"

"Tch. Scared? Hell na. Don't blame me if I shatter this mic with my amazing voice." Sanemi snatched the glass.

"Perfect! Now, as the rule-makers, Kanae and I get to pick the first song... for the boys!" Mitsuri clapped her hands.

Kanae tapped a few buttons on the karaoke remote, and the opening chords of "Mugen" by My First Story x Hyde blared through the speakers.

Obanai and Sanemi groaned in unison. "You've got to be kidding me." Obanai said.

Sanemi stared at the screen. "What the hell are these lyrics? I'm not singing this. These lyrics are insane!"

Obanai removed his sweater and tied his hair into a ponytail. "You guys really going to make us sing this anime song?"

"It's a duet! You'll love it. One of you gets to play the dramatic screamer, and the other gets to sing... whatever the other part is."

The boys huddled together, glaring at the screen like it had personally insulted them.

Sanemi jabbed a finger at the screen. "Alright, I'll do his voice. Obanai, you do the dramatic soft one. Deal?"

Obanai sighing heavily as he scratched his head. "Fine. But if you embarrass me, I'm blaming you for this entire disaster."

The girls giggled as they got their phones ready to record. The boys reluctantly picked up the microphones.

Mitsuri took a shot of Saki "This is going to be amazing!"

Kanae held up her phone to record. "I'm saving this moment forever."

The music kicked in, and Obanai immediately channeled his inner voice.

(The the melody of the song played as the girls were crying with laughter, leaning on each other for support.)

Mitsuri wiped tears from her eyes. "I can't... this is too much!"
