As Kanae and Mitsuri lingered behind, their laughter and excited chatter filled the air, the energy between them light and carefree. The others had gone off to get drinks, leaving the two girls alone for a moment, unaware of the growing stillness around them. The club's dim lights flickered faintly, the music a steady hum in the background, but something about the atmosphere had shifted—subtly, but unmistakably.

Kanae, mid-laugh, suddenly paused, a strange feeling creeping up her spine. She glanced around, but the crowd still buzzed with activity. Yet, something felt off, as if the shadows themselves were watching, moving.

Mitsuri, oblivious to the shift in energy, continued to chat animatedly, her excitement about the night's events bubbling over. But Kanae's attention drifted, her eyes narrowing as she caught a glimpse of something—or someone—moving in the darkness, just beyond the edge of the dance floor.

The lights dimmed further, casting long, eerie shadows across the room. The figure moved closer, weaving through the crowd with an unsettling silence, too deliberate, too focused. Kanae's pulse quickened, her instincts kicking in, but she kept her composure, not wanting to alarm Mitsuri.

"Mitsuri," Kanae said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Mitsuri paused, her eyes widening slightly as she noticed the shift in Kanae's tone. "Did you see that?" Kanae's gaze flickered toward the dark corner of the room, but the figure had already vanished into the crowd.

Mitsuri's smile faltered, her laughter fading as she followed Kanae's gaze. "What is it?" she asked, her voice tinged with confusion. But before Kanae could answer, she saw it again—a flicker of movement, a shadow creeping closer.

The girls were no longer alone.

The air seemed to grow colder, the hum of the club's music fading into an ominous silence as the shadow figure drew nearer, slipping between the other dancers unnoticed. It moved with purpose, its silhouette barely distinguishable from the darkness around it, but there was no mistaking the sense of menace that clung to it.

Kanae's heart pounded in her chest. "We need to move," she said, her voice tense but calm as she grabbed Mitsuri's arm, pulling her slightly closer. Mitsuri's eyes widened in alarm, her earlier cheerfulness replaced with a rising unease as she glanced around, trying to see what Kanae had sensed.

The figure was closer now—too close. They could feel it, lurking just behind them, its presence pressing in like a shadow ready to swallow them whole.

Kanae's breath quickened, her instincts screaming at her to run, but she didn't want to draw attention. Not yet. "Stay calm," she whispered to Mitsuri, trying to keep her voice steady. "Just follow my lead."

Mitsuri nodded, fear creeping into her expression as the two of them slowly began to edge toward the exit, their movements casual but deliberate. The crowd seemed oblivious, the music pulsing around them as if nothing was wrong, but Kanae knew—something was coming.

And it was coming for them.

As they moved, Kanae could feel the weight of eyes on her back, the unmistakable sense of being hunted. The figure was still there, blending in with the shadows, but it was closer now—too close for comfort.

They were running out of time.

"Hey Beautiful" Suddenly, a figure moved into their space—a tall, overly confident guy with slicked-back blonde hair in a silky red collar shirt with black pants and a smug grin. He had been eyeing the group from the moment they entered the club, and now he made his move.

"Names Doma, what's a girl like you doing alone on the dance floor?" Doma ask, his voice smooth but dripping with arrogance as he singled out Kanae, stepping closer with his presence looming.
