As the night in Shibuya was cold and chilly, the city was alive with a pulse of vibrant neon lights reflecting off the rain-slicked streets. The crisp autumn air bit gently at the exposed skin of passersby, their breaths visible in the cool night as they hurried along the bustling sidewalks. Mitsuri watched the people through the car window as Iguro drove his car into an available parking lot. After parking, the two stepped out and after a couple of streets away reached the heart of the city, hand in hand, bundled up in cozy jackets, the warmth of each other's presence cutting through the cold. The sound of the city enveloped them—cars honking, the soft hum of conversations, and the distant beat of music escaping from bars and clubs nearby. Above them, the towering skyscrapers were adorned with colorful billboards, flashing bright advertisements and anime characters, their hues reflecting in the puddles at their feet.
" It's chilly," Mitsuri whispered to herself as she shivered lightly, pulling her scarf tighter around her neck, her pink hair catching the glow of the lights as it fluttered in the breeze. She glanced at Iguro, who seemed unaffected by the cold but still tightened his grip on her hand, offering silent comfort. He glanced over at her, his eyes softening with a rare smile that made her smile and blush.
The two wandered through the streets, passing by street vendors selling hot ramen and yakitori, the savory smells filling the air that can make anyone's stomachs growl. As Iguro continued to lead Mitsuri through the upscale streets of Shibuya, his grip on her hand was firm and reassuring as they approached the first of many luxurious boutiques. The store's tall glass doors slid open, revealing an elegant display of designer clothing, with soft lighting casting a golden glow on everything inside. Mitsuri's eyes widened as they entered, the sheer beauty of the store's interior leaving her momentarily speechless.
"She nervously stepped back close to the entryway with a sad face. "I um- i don't really shop in stores like these, it's too expensive" She said as her confidence dropped
"Don't worry, this date is all about you, my treat". Iguro, calm and composed as always, gently nudged her forward with a soft glance, encouraging her to explore. After a few glances around, Mitsuri gave in and began to look.
Racks of finely crafted dresses, coats, and accessories lined the walls, each item looking as if it belonged in a fashion magazine. Mitsuri hesitated at first, overwhelmed by the extravagance, but she quickly fell into a rhythm, browsing through the racks with an excited gleam in her eyes.
For a while, the two split looking for something that peaked their interest. Iguro walked back to Mitsuri with a beautiful dress. "Try this one," Iguro said quietly, picking out a chic, emerald green off-shoulder mermaid dress that shimmered in the light.
"Oh my! that's gorgeous!" Mitsuri blushed, taking it from him with a nervous smile. After admiring it for a few seconds, she disappeared into the fitting room along with other clothes she picked out, and moments later, emerged looking like she belonged on the runway. The dress hugged her curves in all the right places, the rich color enhancing her already radiant complexion.
Looking up from his seat, Iguro's gaze was steady, a slight smirk forming. "You look beautiful," he said, his voice low but full of appreciation. "Spin for me" he said leaning back with his legs slightly parting.
Mitsuri spun around playfully, her hair swaying as she giggled, delighted by his reaction. "Thank you" She admired herself in the mirror and smiled, not believing she would ever be in something like it. "It's beautiful" She slowly ran her hands up her hips then looked at her back through the mirror before returning back to the fitting room.
Each time she tried on something new, Iguro would sit back, eyes never leaving her as she modeled the outfits with shy excitement. Whether it was a sleek trench coat, a cashmere sweater, or a pair of designer boots, his eyes followed her every movement, studying the way each piece highlighted her beauty. And each time, without hesitation, he would signal to the sales clerk, buying every piece that brought a smile to her face.
After Mitsuri finished dressing up, She noticed Iguro holding multiple bags, ready for the next store. He extended his hand with a warm smile. "Ready for the next store". Making Mitsuri smile shyly.
After their time in the clothing stores, Iguro led Mitsuri to other essential shops and jewelry stores, where he quietly picked out a delicate bracelet that matched her taste while she picked out pearl earrings, and perfume bottles where she sampled them. Two particular scent piqued her interest; a perfume from Lancôme called 'Idôle Eau de Parfum' and another one called 'Love, Don't Be Shy Eau de Parfum' by Kilian which She sprayed on her wrist and her neck. Iguro lean in close to her neck so he could breathe in the fragrance. His breath brushed against her neck and whispered "This one smells best on you, but I prefer your natural smell" That alone warmed her body. He paid for both without a second thought.
As they stepped out of the store, Mitsuri stopped him with a worried face." Iguro, please, dont spend so much money on me... you've spent so much on me already, i feel bad. You don't have to...". She squeezed his hand.
Iguro smiled at her and squeezed her hand back. " This is just the start of many. You're my girlfriend and I'll make sure you're spoiled in every way". He ensured her never making a big show of it, simply wanting her to feel pampered, adored. "Get use to it babe".
Mitsuri, surprised by his response, smiled with teary eyes. She knew stopping him was impossible, but a part of her enjoyed being pampered for the first time ever.
They visited a cozy, high-end café for a break, sipping warm drinks as Mitsuri beamed with happiness, surrounded by bags of elegant new outfits and essentials. All the ladies looked from afar and whispered to themselves, while others gave evil glares at their boyfriends wishing they too could be spoiled that way. Iguro, smoking and reserved as ever, watched her with quiet contentment, enjoying the sight of her so carefree and joyful warmed his heart. It was a side of her he adored, and he was willing to do anything to keep that smile glowing on her face and never see her in the state she was the night before.
With the night still young, they ventured into the final store—a lingerie shop. The atmosphere was intimate and sophisticated. Mitsuri flushed a deep pink but stepped forward confidently, picking out a few delicate pieces while Iguro followed along, her heart racing as she imagined what he might think. Iguro sat on the small bench facing her fitting room and waited while looking through his phone. After a few pickings, she opened her fitting room door. She wore a two piece black silk lingerie. She shyly glanced toward him, making his eyes darkened with lust and a smirk across his face.
"You're perfect," he murmured, his voice soft but intense. Without hesitation, he purchased the items, his gaze never leaving her face. The tenderness in his eyes told her everything—this wasn't about the clothes or the stores. It was about him showing how much he cherished her, about seeing her gain back her confident, and believing in herself that's she was beautiful.
