Yuichirou Tokitou x Reader

Yuichiro and Y/n sat in their classroom during lunch break, surrounded by the chatter and laughter of their classmates. Yuichiro had been mustering up the courage to express his feelings, and he decided to seize this moment to do so, even if Y/n's obliviousness was a bit frustrating.

"Y/n," Yuichiro began, his expression almost disbelieving as he stared at her. "If someone treats you better than they usually do to everyone else, what are they?" He leaned in a little closer, hoping she would catch the hint.

Y/n looked up from her lunch, her eyes filled with curiosity as she considered his question. "A friend!" she replied cheerfully, her head tilting to the side in complete obliviousness.

Y/n's sunny disposition remained unshaken, but Yuichiro couldn't help but sweat drop at her response. She was truly as dense as a rock when it came to matters of the heart.

Yuichiro sighed inwardly, realizing he needed to be more direct. "No... What if they treat you more than just a friend, what is that person to you?" He couldn't help but sweat a little, wondering how she could be so dense.

This time, Y/n actually took a few seconds to think, her brows furrowing slightly in concentration. Yuichiro felt a glimmer of hope; maybe she was finally catching on to his feelings. After all, he had dropped hints that he thought were as plain as day.

"A good friend?" Y/n answered, her eyes lighting up as she looked excitedly at Yuichiro, thinking she had finally cracked the code. Yuichiro, on the other hand, wanted to bury his face in his hands.

He resisted the urge to facepalm himself. It seemed he had a long way to go before Y/n would realize the true depth of his feelings for her.

Yuichiro couldn't help but let out a quiet, frustrated groan. His voice was low, barely audible, as he lamented his situation.

"Why did I... Ugh..." He muttered to himself, shaking his head in disbelief. Of all the people he could have fallen for, it had to be Y/n. She carried her reputation as the densest person out there, and he couldn't help but feel exasperated by the sheer obliviousness of it all.

A subtle tint of blush began to spread across Yuichiro's cheeks, his frustration and flustered feelings mixing together. He couldn't help but steal a glance at Y/n, who was obviously enjoying her lunch without the slightest inkling of what he was going through.

His heart raced as he watched her, wishing that she could see beyond his words and gestures. Yet, as he observed her cheerful demeanor, the blush on his face deepened, and he couldn't help but feel both enamored and exasperated by her complete lack of awareness of his true feelings.

Yuichiro found himself at a pivotal moment, his heart pounding in his chest as he prepared to lay his feelings bare. With a soft, steadying breath, he mustered all the courage he had left. His cheeks still held that almost imperceptible pink blush, a telltale sign of his anxiety. Slowly, he turned to face Y/n, his eyes locking onto hers.

"Y/n, can you help me with something?" he called out, his voice trembling slightly, making Y/n turn towards him with a curious expression, ready to assist.

"What is it?" She smiled innocently, her eyes filled with anticipation, unaware of the storm brewing within Yuichiro's heart.

Yuichiro took a deep breath, feeling his heart race even faster as he began to speak, his words laced with vulnerability. "I really like this girl, but I'm not sure how to tell her."

Y/n's eyes widened in excitement, her smile growing brighter as she leaned in, eager to offer her advice. "Oh, really?" Her enthusiasm was palpable. "Why not ask her to the movies this weekend?"

"Alright," Yuichiro replied, determined to seize the moment, maintaining unbroken eye contact with Y/n. "Do you want to go to the movies this weekend?"

Y/n frowned in confusion; her innocent obliviousness still intact. "No, I meant, go ask her."

"I just did."

"Oh?" Y/n blinked, still not catching on, her expression one of utter confusion. "What did she say?"

"I don't know," Yuichiro responded, his patience wearing thin, his emotions getting the better of him. "You tell me."

"What do you mean?" Y/n asked, genuinely perplexed, her innocence radiating.

At this point, Yuichiro couldn't contain his frustration any longer. He sighed deeply, a mix of exasperation and relief, and finally blurted out the words he had been holding back for so long. "Y/n, I like you, you fucking dumbass."
