Sinking down in the tub filled with warm water, a loud sigh left me as my shoulders relaxed as I leaned back. Now this is the life.

Hearing a soft chuckle, I opened my eyes and turned my head to see Azrael putting the bucket down, watching me. My cheeks burned but a grin formed on my lips. "Come join me, Az. You need a bath as well." She rolled her eyes.

Azrael had taken a bath in a lake during the journey back to the pack but she still smelled like death. I don't even want to ask what she did during the time I was away. All I know is that I don't want to smell death right now so she needs a bath.

Taking off her clothes and dropping them onto the floor, I sat up and moved forward, giving Azrael enough space to climb in from behind.

The water rippled as she got into place. Settling down right behind me, her soft cocked pressing into my back when she pulled me back. Her chest against my back, her nipples poking me.

A small shutter went through my entire body as I rested my head back against her shoulder. Letting out a hum from her presence. By the Goddess did I miss her touch.

Feeling a hand slowly makes it way towards in between my legs, towards my cherry, a small whimper escaped my throat and I moved closer to my mate. Closing my eyes, gripping onto the wandering arm as the other resting on top the tub. "Az."

Her hand reached my cherry, she circled in with a finger, rubbing, playing with it. Teasing me like a bully and it only made me feel more hot. "Az... please."

Azrael chucked, pressing a kiss against the side of my head as her hand stopped. "Later, my little flower." I whined, wanting nothing more but her to fuck me right here and now. "You're so mean, Az. You can't get me all worked up only to not do anything to me, you're being cruel."

"Be a patient little Alpha, and I'll throw you on the bed and fuck you until you can't feel your legs anymore if you behave." A small whimper left me as the idea of Azrael throwing me onto our bed and having her way with me flashed in my head.

The heat in between my leg burned but I rubbed my legs together to try to settle the heat myself as Azrael didn't do anything to calm it down. She instead reached over and grabbed the letter from her brother that was on a wooden stool next to the tub.

Her hand still touching my cherry as she read aloud. Her tone changing from teasing to board. "Dear sister, did you like my little surprise? I didn't expect a rogue such as yourself to mange to see through my little trick, but all well. There's always a smart idiot among the crowd of stupid and savage."

Bearing my teeth and growling at that, I opened my eyes, ignoring the heat as I moved to see that letter which I don't know why. It's not like I could read at all. But that fact that this false king insulted my mate and pack pissed me off.

Azrael noticed my reaction and shook her head, her lip twitching upwards as she rubbed my thigh. Going back to reading the letter. "And I've just heard that Alpha Raymond has been killed, as well as the bodyguards I have given him. To be frank, I knew he was going to die sooner or later but his son did not. The boy came running to me saying that he wanted the murder's head and I am tempted to give it to him, since, the murder is your mate. There's no way you could have done it since you were being too busy being a pain in my ass taking down pack after pack."

The words on the letter from being calm and light to being dark and messy. A few words smeared from the ink, like he was pressing hard against the paper with his pen.

"So I've decided to bring the head of his father's murder to him alive as well as deal with you once and for all in one swing." He didn't mention Maya at all. I wonder how she's doing.

Turning my attention back to Azrael as she sighed, putting the letter down back down on the stool next to the tub and placed her hand over my stomach that started to swell with a life. "Dealing with a dangerous fool is such a pain. I should have killed that nuisance years ago."

She moved the hand away from my cherry, still having the other over my stomach, as she reached up and rubbed her forehead. Closing her eyes. "This is what I get for hesitating." She hummed annoyingly under her breath. Seeing her like this, I decided to change the topic.

Tilting my head back, I faced my mate upside down. "How's Lily? Did she make it back to the pack alright?" Azrael opened her eyes, a small smile growing on her lips. "Yes. I believe she settled down quite nicely. Believe it or not, she's actually Leo's mate."

My eyes widened for a moment before I started laughing, looking down as I covered my mouth with a hand. "Really? That's great. Ever since we were young, she was always talking about how she wanted a big, strong, warrior as a mate to protect her. Looks like she got what she wanted."

I felt Azrael nod her head. "Indeed."

As my laughter slowly came to a stop, I wiped away the tears in my eyes. Resting my head back against Azrael's shoulder.

We stayed in complete, comfortable silence for a couple of minutes. Just enjoying being with each other once again until Azrael finally spoke. "Have you decided on what to name the baby?"

I giggled at that. "It's only been like a few weeks since I known I was pregnant. Thinking of a name didn't really cross my mind."

Azrael smiled, her hand rubbing my stomach. "I have. I was thinking if it was a girl, we should try something like Xenia. And if it was a boy, Silas." Wasn't the former Queen's name Xenia? Isn't she Azrael's mother? Xenia would be a nice name if we have a daughter.

"Both names sound lovely, Az." I'm not really good at picking names so it's a relief that Azrael is picking the name. I don't really mind if it's a boy or a girl, I just want to deliver them safely. Sure I'm a little scare and overwhelmed by this but...

"Me and my wolf were really worried about you, Iris." Snapping out of it, My smile fell as Azrael leaned down and hid her face against my shoulder. "I was so scared." My heart broke at that.

Azrael isn't one to ever show that she was afraid. We only known each other not even half a year and during that short time, she was a brave and powerful woman that command a strong force. She was always so strong in my eyes.

I'm a fool to think that a person such as herself didn't have weaknesses. She might be brave, but she can't always be that. She has to be vulnerable sometimes, it's apart of life.

Without saying a word, I snuggled closer to Azrael. Turning around slightly and pressing my ear over to her chest. Listening to her heartbeat. Grabbing her hand and placing it over mine, as if telling her, I'm here. Alive and with you.
