It's been over a month since that fight between Azrael and those vampire and life couldn't have gotten even better since then.

Azrael even started letting me leave our room because the effects of her rut was finally fully gone and her protectiveness lessen a little. But it still took a while for the feelings in my legs to return before I could do any exploring.

When I could walk again, I want around the entire underground castle. Sometimes losing track of time so Azrael had to come and look for me so we can have dinner and head to bed.

Honestly, she just likes to ruin all my fun since she's jealous because she always going to meetings and talking to people about boring stuff.

Most of the time through, I would help her since I am Luna after all and a Luna must do her job for the pack. It's a duty I take very seriously.

Sadly, my fun came to a halt this morning when I woke up and immediately shot up from the bed, startling Azrael since I ripped myself out of her arms, and ran to the bathroom. Puking last nights dinner in the toilet.

Breathing heavy, resting my forehead against my arm, there was a bitter taste in my mouth with my throat slighting burning. Don't tell me, am I sick?

Feeling another wave of nausea, I gagged and vomited some more. Yup, sick. Great.

With my head in the toilet bowl, throwing my guts out, I felt large hands gently grab my hair and pulled out of the way before rubbing my back. Azrael didn't say anything as I finished up.

Closing my eyes, a sigh left me and I leaned back into my mate. Wanting comfort from her. Rarely do I get sick and when I do, it isn't pleasant. "Are you alright now, my flower?"

Nodding my head, I felt Azrael reached over to grab something. Feeling a rag wipe away the saliva on my chin a moment later, I huffed embarrassed. Snuggled deeper into my mate's embrace.

"You're so pale." I heard her mumble through slightly ringing ears. Then, I felt the palm of her hand against my forehead. "Warm too."

Softly getting picked up by Azrael, she took me out of the bathroom and laid me back in bed. Pulling the covers up to my chest. "I'll bring a healer to check on your condition. Just wait here, love." She leaned down and kissed my forehead.

I moaned in agreement, feeling too weak to speak. Feeling the bed bounce up when Azrael stood up from it, she began to walk away.

Then, a sharp pain in my chest suddenly hit me after she took a few steps.

My eyes snapped open and widened from the pain. My breath got stuck in my throat and my toes curled. One hand gripped tightly to the sheets with the other gripping onto my chest where I had felt the pain. Not again!

Azrael immediately snapped her head towards me and was swiftly at my side. In the corner of my teary eye, she was starting at me with panic. Feeling my pain through the bond. "Iris, what's wrong!?"

She pulled me into her arms and held me close, her grip on my small body tight but gentle. I felt her fear and worry but couldn't say anything to comfort her.

"Healer! I need a healer in here, now!" She roared, her body shaking. About to shift. I can see her wolf was fighting to come out, also wanting to know what was going on.

The sounds of people muffled running footsteps from behind the door was heard as they ran off to do as told.

My mate put her attention back on me, trying to distract me from the pain. Whispering sweet words in my ears as she rubbed my arm, rocking us. Impatiently waiting for the healer to come.

After a while, the pain finally began to settle and my body relaxed against Azrael. Taking deep breaths to calm myself with sweat rolling down my face, a sigh left me.

Azrael perked up at that and slightly calmed down. Her shoulders relaxing just a bit.

The door to the bedroom was thrown open and slammed against the wall.

Turning my head just a little, a shewolf that I had seen around the castle few times rushed it with a worried expression. She quickly sat next to me and began looking me over, asking questions on what happen and the pain I was feeling.

Azrael grip tighten on me but she allowed the healer to do her job. When the healer was finished, I was already laid back down on the bed. The blanket over me again.

The healer turned to the worried Alpha. "Anassa Alpha, it seems like the Luna's wolf is fighting to be let out. Due to the Luna not shifting for a very long time, she may feel these random sharp pains in her chest even more than this month."

The healer sighed, getting up from the bed. "If she doesn't shift soon, the pain will become worst as time goes by."

"Wait, did you say "even more"? Are the Healers already informed on what is going on with my mate?" Azrael growled, eyes narrowing at the Healer who quickly bowed her head.

I closed my eyes, praying to the Goddess that she didn't tell Azrael what I was keeping secret from her. "Yes, Anassa Alpha. The Luna visited us two weeks ago and begged us not to tell you." Dang it.

Azrael snapped her head at me, her face full of anger and hurt for not telling her.

Yeah, this isn't the second time the sharp pains coming from my chest randomly appeared. It became more frequent this month after the vampire attack.

Visiting the healers to see what was wrong with me, they said that because I had found my mate and we had mated and mark each other that my wolf woke up and is now wanting to be let out.

The problem being, since I was ordered by Alpha long again, I can't shift even if I wanted to. An Alpha's order is law and you can't break it unless your another Alpha.

The reason why I didn't tell Azrael about my wolf or me unable to shift was because she was already stressed of dealing with her Queen stuff so I begged the healers not to tell her and that I will when I find the chance after they told me that they had to inform the Alpha about the pain. And they didn't. Until now.

"I must warn you, if this continues, it'll cause complication to the pregnancy and there'll be a high chance that it will lead to a miscarriage."

My eyes snapped open and I looked over at the healer. Did she just say that I was pregnant!?
