Before the room could erupt with blood shed, Aspen quickly shot up from his seat and shouted which echoed throughout the room. "NO ONE ELSE MOVE!"

The men in black all frozen in place, having turning to us and were ready to pounce. Seeing that his men didn't move, Aspen sighed and glanced over at us, eyes narrowed as Lily shook right beside him, overwhelmed by all the pheromones in the room being an omega and all.

"Sister, I will appreciate if you keep your men on a tighter leash." Aspen spoke through gritted teeth, making Azrael turn to the warrior that had just ripped out the throat of the man in black.

Noticing the Alpha's glancing at him, the Rogue spat out the piece of flesh out of his mouth and it landed right beside the man struggling to breathe. Giving us a terrifying toothy smile with his pearly whites that were stained with red blood.

The man in black twitching at his feet, blood squirting out of his neck with wide eyes, breathing heavily, staring at me as he tried to speak. Only to have more blood gush out from his mouth, leaving his words to be gurgled.

There was a sigh. "Put the poor bastard out of his misery already." The Rogue that just ripped out the man's throat smiled even wider, waiting for Azrael's confirmation before finally killing the man in which I looked away, holding the urge to throw up as sounds of flesh ripping filled the room and the man's breathing finally ceased.

The men in black stared at us, rage in their eyes as they shook from fury, ready to shift and tear us to shreds. Not like they could.

Looking back over at Aspen, he didn't look angry like his men. More annoyed really. "I think this meeting should finished for another time. Let's let tension settle down before starting up again."

Azrael simply hummed, standing up and I did the same. Taking my hand back into hers and guiding me out of the room until Aspen spoke up again.

"They are rooms for you and your men, sister. Do use them. The omega here will take you to them." He gestured towards Lily before leaning back into his chair and stared over at us. Tapping his finger against the table. "Also, Azrael, go take a bath and cover those disgusting hickeys of yours."

Looking up at Azrael, her eyes darkened at her brothers words. Suddenly, it felt like the atmosphere got heavy, making everyone bow their heads, including myself.

Aspen almost bowed his head too but forced it to stay up, gritting his teeth by the effort.

"Say another word, brother, and I'm going to tear out your throat myself." Aspen's eyes darkened by the order but he held back a growl. Not doing anything as Azrael turned away and began leaving with me in toe. "Omega, show my mate and I, as well as my warriors, where our rooms are."

"Yes Alpha!" Lily squeaked out, quickly rushing away from the false king's side and over to us. Walking out of the room with I and the rest of the Rogues. Taking us to mine and Azrael's room first.

She bowed her head when reaching the door and spun around, rushing away with the warriors following. Who were all hyped up, grinning, cheering, and patting the warrior who killed the man just a couple minutes ago back. Paying no mind to them, I kept my eyes on Lily until she was out of sight.

Sighing and turning my head just as Azrael looked away, she opened the door and stepped in. Letting me in next.

As the doors closed behind us, a small sigh left me and I rubbed the back of my neck. Flinching when Azrael spoke. "So, who's the omega girl you were staring at?"

Looking up at my mate and noticing the very obvious jealousy in her eyes, I chucked softly. She's cute when she's jealous. "She's my friend when we were younger. She was apart of the Golden River Pack until she disappeared one day when I was...seven maybe? It's been years since I've seen her. Don't worry, she's more like my little sister than anything."

Hearing that, Azrael relaxed, making me chuckle once more. The Alpha pouted at me laughing at her, turning away and going over to the bed.

"Speaking of the Golden River, what happened to them? I've been meaning to ask you these last couple months but never got to it." Azrael sat down on the bed, leaning back slightly and looking back at me.

"Everyone, except the ones that wasn't warriors, was killed and everything was burned to ashes. Unfortunately, the Alpha and his family escaped before we even got there. What a real pain."

Azrael sigh, flopping back onto the bed with her arms spread out. Smiling at her reaction, pushing away the worry that my family escaped and wondering what happened to Maya, I slowly looked around the room. Soon spotting a door in the corner.

Tilting my head, hands clasped behind my back, I went over to it. Opening the door and seeing a bathroom just like the one back at the Golden River Pack.

Thinking for a moment, my smile turned into a grin as an idea hit me. I looked back over at Azrael who was still laying in bed, staring up at the ceiling. "Az."

She hummed, flinching when suddenly my shirt landed on her face. Removing it, she sat up and turned to me, seeing me smirk at her as I dropped my pants before going inside the bathroom.

Hearing a playful growl, Azrael quickly ran after me. Tearing off her clothes in the process and shutting the bathroom door close.
