I was back at the Pack house. On my knees, scrubbing the floor. People walked by me, not paying any attention to the Runt on the ground.

Sounds of their footsteps and the brush's soft scraping filled my ears. I was numb, empty.

Hearing someone's heavy footsteps stop right in front of me made me pause in my work. Looking up just a little to see fur boots.

Lifting my head all the way back to meet this person gaze, I saw red eyes staring back at me. Frown on her lips as she knelt down onto one knee. Watching her confused, my mouth slightly agape by what she had just done.

Studying her outfit, a sense of familiarity hit me. But there was no memory of who this woman was.

Looking back into her eyes, more confusion came when seeing that they were soft and gentle. She didn't look at me like the others. There was no hatred or disgust. Only warmth, affection, and slight pity.

Leaning forward, she raised her hand. I didn't flinch away or try to stop her as she caressed by cheek. She was being gentle when handing me, like I was a cracked vase ready to fall apart.

Stroking my face with her knuckles, her hand flipped over and she traced her fingers over my lips. Eyes narrowed at seeing the scars of what Luna had done.

Turning her attention away from my lips, the woman moved her hand downward towards my neck. No fear came when she placed her hand over said neck.

My body shuddered, eyes closing when her thumb traced over the bruises. My breath got caught in my throat with a slight blush forming on my face.

After a moment, she pulled away which made me softly whine. I stared at her with contentment and desire, wanting more of her touch.

Raising up to her feet, looking down at me, the woman held out her hand. Glancing at it, then back up at her, I didn't hesitate to take it.

My eyes snapped open when the door to the room bursted open, slamming into the wall. Sitting up, groggy from being suddenly awoken, I looked over to see a shewolf and a hewolf. They look almost identical to each other, siblings perhaps?

They had dark brunette hair. The Shewolf was on the slip, muscular side while the Hewolf was jacked.

He was sprawl out on the ground, moaning in pain while the Shewolf stood at the doorway, shaking her head and rolling her eyes. "Dumbass."

Turning her attention in my direction, my body tensed. Freezing up while I stared into her red eyes before quickly looking down at the ground. Do they need something from me?

"Roxie." The hewolf whined really loud, getting up and turning to the shewolf, Roxie, I think. "My chin hurts."

"That's your own fault." Roxie scolded, "I told you to not lean against the door because it was broken but you didn't listen." There was another whine from the Hewolf.

Hearing a scoff, I felt eyes on me before someone came over to where I was at. Making me lean back until my back touched the wall, arms wrapped around myself. "So, this is the small shewolf that's mated to our dear Alpha."

The Hewolf scrambled to get to his feet and stumbled over excitedly, getting up in my face with a huge grin that made me nervous. "You don't look like much."

"Don't be mean, Roxie." The Hewolf frown, looking back at the Shewolf then back at me. A huge twinkle in his eyes. "You're so adorable. Ignore that big meanie behind me." Why is he speaking like that? It's so high for a male. It's weird.

Suddenly, Roxie grabbed him by the back of his fur jacket and pulled him away from me, much to my relief. Their clothes were just like Azrael and Amber's. "Don't get too close to her, you idiot."

Roxie scowled, glaring at the pouting Hewolf that didn't try to escape her grasp. "Didn't you hear what happened to that newbie? Alpha Azrael ripped his head clean off for touching her."

Hearing someone else come in, we all turned our heads to see Amber walk in. She saw the two identical siblings and frowned. "Roxie, Leo, what are you two doing here?"

"We were just-"

"We were just visiting Alpha Asrael's new mate!" The Hewolf, Leo, interrupted. Earning a glare from Roxie. "We wanted to see the poor damsel that has to deal with the Alpha for the rest of her life."

"Well, get out." Amber ordered, "She is still healing from her injuries and needs to rest. I will not have the two of you disturbing our Luna."

"Yes ma'am." Without any protest, Roxie and Leo went over to the door. Leo gave me one more smile and waved at me before Roxie grabbed him by his collar and pulled him out of the room.

Amber sighed. "Those two are going to end up getting in big trouble one day." Turning her attention back onto me, her eyes slightly narrowed at seeing me sitting on the ground.

"Did you sleep on the floor." She frowned, walking over and getting onto her knees again. I silently nodded my head, staring at her hands. "Does anything hurt?"

Hesitantly, I slowly nodded my head. "Yes, but I'm okay." I whispered, just loud enough for her to hear. "I'm used to it."

"Well, you shouldn't, darling." Amber held out her hand. "Come, let's give you a bath and change your bandages."

Glancing up at her, I ignored her hand and slowly got up on my own. Leaning against the wall for support. Not looking surprised, Amber got up too and began walking away. "Follow me, and be careful. Last thing we need is you getting hurt even more."

Gulping, I followed after her to the door that I didn't notice until now. It was at the other side of the room to the right of the window.

Amber opened the door for me and let me in first before closing the door behind her while I looked around confused.

This wasn't a bathroom I have ever seen before. There was nothing fancy about it and it was small. The only things there was a wooden tub off to the left with a couple windows that were open and a screen to the right.

Strolling past me and over to the tub, I just realized that there was already water, despite no faucet, and steam was filling the room but exited through the windows.

With the windows open, the sounds outside were more easy to hear.

Sitting on top of the tub, Amber put her hand into the water. "The water has cooled down a bit, you can enter." Turning back to me, I gripped onto Azrael's shirt, not wanting to take it off. "Come child, let's clean yourself up."

Standing there for a moment, I reluctantly took off the shirt and the shorts I was wearing. Going over to Amber, she helped take off my bandages that were soaked with blood.

Stepping into the tub, I slowly sank into the water. Hissing in pain because of my wounds but, the pain was quickly replaced by pure bliss.

My face heated up by how warm the water was. I must be in the afterlife. Never have I had such a warm bath, they'll normally freezing cold.

My back was facing Amber, I felt her stares on me before she hovered her fingers over the whip marks Alpha did over the years. Lashes crossing on top each other, some old, some new.

She didn't say anything. Just moved away after a while. "I'll help you with your bath. I'll try to be as gentle as I can. Hope you don't mind." I shook my head, making the water ripple. "I don't mind."

"Good. Now, let's get started."
