Running and only stoping to rest when it was night was kind of exhausting, fun, but exhausting at the same time.
My wolf took control a few times through the days where we were heading to see Azrael's older brother, enjoying her time free from the chains I had placed on her.
But at least, she started slowly opening up to me a day ago, which is a good thing. But the bond between us still needs time to heal.
I've also grown a little in these past few days, now standing at five foot eight now. And that wasn't the only thing that grew.
My breast has become much bigger, making Azrael more possessive over me. She had to fix my shirt so it was squeezing me anymore as well as my pants too.
It was nice of her to fix them whenever we stopped to take a break.
Snapping out of my thoughts when someone sat next to me, I turned my head and smiled when seeing that it was Azrael.
She looked over at me and raised a hand, pushing some of my hair behind my ear. "What has your mind occupied?"
"Nothing." I turned back, watching as the warriors were gathered around a fire as a deer was being cooked. They were talking to each other and having fun telling each other jokes.
"You can join them if you want." I shook my head. "No, I'm okay." I don't really want to bother them. It's hard to open up to people that respect you so much, especially since they don't know you and you're mated to the most dangerous Alpha in the entire world.
Azrael didn't say anything for a moment as I stared at the crackling flames. Listening to the crickets and owls.
Feeling a hand grab my chin, Azrael turned my head towards her. Looking down and staring straight into my eyes. "Your eyes have brighten up more with red. I don't see a hint of brown anywhere." She smirked.
Leaning down, her mouth right next to my ear. Her warm breath send shivers down my spine as my cheeks flushed. "You have truly become a Rogue now." Blushing even more, I turned away. Pressed my legs together and attempting to ignore the heat forming in between them.
Azrael's chuckle filled my ears as she pulled away from me. Blushing, I softly punched her arm. Making the Alpha softly grunt before playfully glared at me, bearing her teeth and growling. Turning away and staring over at her warriors.
The two of us went back to being quiet for a while, just listening to the chatting wolves and the forest. After a moment, I spoke.
"Az, I was meaning to ask...but...what do I smell like to you?" Azrael looked over at me, I shifted nervously. Not glancing back at my mate. "To me, you smell like freshly baked bread and cooked bacon."
I felt Azrael stare at me for a moment, not saying a thing. Making me even more anxious about the ridiculous question that was asked until the Alpha suddenly bursted out laughing.
Snapping my head towards her, I narrowed my eyes. Silently glaring at Azrael for having the nerve to laugh at me. She quickly noticed and waved a hand, wiping away a tear in her eyes. "Apologies, my love, it's just...there has been talk about people's mates smelling what they like the most." She sighed, "Guess it was true."
Taking a deep breath to calm herself from her fit of laughter. A smile stayed on her lips. "You smell like flowers. Mostly lilac and moonflowers. A nice combination." Her expression softened as she spoke, looking down at me.
Her expression is always serious in front of others, but I like how it softens up whenever she looked at me.
Smiling, Azrael leaned down. Pressing our foreheads together, taking a deep breath of my scent as she placed a hand over my stomach. "Your scent is magnificent."
