Beatriz's POV
"Time to sleep na, Bennie," sabi ni Jho matapos mabihisan si Bennie, naligo kasi sumabay sakin.
"Okay, mom, but can you and dada hug me?" sabi ni Bennie. Tumingin ako kay Jho na nakatingin din pala sakin.
"Ah, ano, baby, sa couch kasi—"
"Sure, baby, your mom and I will hug you," sabi ko at hindi pinatapos si Jho sa sasabihin niya. This is the first time na matutulog kami sa iisang kama ni Jho after 5 years.
"Yey! Thank you, dada and mom!"
"Sige na, sleep na," sabi ko kay Bennie.
"Good night, mommy and dada. I love you both," Bennie said. Nahiga kaming tatlo. Nakayakap na kami kay Bennie, pero hindi cuddle; nakapatong lang arm namin sa kanya. Bennie was hugging me.
Hindi nagtagal, nag-vibrate yung phone ko. Someone was calling on Facetime.
"Where are you going, dada?" tanong ni Bennie nang alisin ko yung arm ko sa kanya. Hindi pa pala mahimbing ang tulog niya.
"I'll just answer this, baby. Babalik ako agad. Sleep now, and I'll hug you. I promise, when you wake up, I'm hugging you," sabi ko.
"Okay, dada," antok na sabi ni Bennie, at kay Jho yumakap. Tumayo na ko to take the call at pumunta sa balcony ng room ko.
"Hello, babe," sabi ko.
"Hii. Why so tagal to pick up the phone?" she said. I chuckled.
"Haha, I'm sorry. Bennie's here na kasi sa house, and you know, I got a little busy." Yeah, she knows I have a son, and it's okay for her naman daw.
"Does her mom—"
"To answer that, yes, she's make sama. Don't worry, I'm behave, babe, naman," sabi ko as I winked at her. Natawa naman siya.
"Whatever, Isabel. Haha. Just make sure of that."
"I promise. Haha. Anyway, what time is it there? Sayang, you're not here. The fam is all here. I’ll introduce you sana sa kanila. Bad timing, why do you have a flight pa kasi? It’s Christmas naman," I said as I pouted.
"Mag-5 AM na. Haha. Next time, babe. Maybe New Year, if someone can take my flight. Sige na, I just called to inform you na I’m already here," she said.
"Oh, I see. You should rest na. I'm hoping for that. Make sure to take care of yourself, babe. Remember, I love you," I said. She chuckled.
"Ui, kilig siya," I added.
"Haha, whatever, Isabel. Have a good night. I love you, too. I'm ending the call now," she said and waved at me before ending the call.
It’s Kianna. We're not official, but we're dating. I met her at the airport. Remember when Dex said I was looking on social media? She’s the girl I was checking on. No one knows about her yet. I want my family to know first. Pumasok ako sa loob, and gising pa si Jho. She smiled at me? But it looked like a tipid smile. Then she kissed Bennie, who was asleep, and tumayo siya.
"Sa guest room niyo nalang ako," she said as she smiled again. I just nodded, and lumabas nga siya ng room ko. Well, she’s the one who occupied the guest room before naman kasi.
Jhoana's POV
The moment na lumabas ako ng room ni Bea, tumulo yung luha ko pagkasara ko ng door niya. I heard everything. Haha, I don’t know why I’m hurting? I don’t know. Haha.
"Oh, Jho, where are you going?" Nagulat ako kay kuya Loel. "Oh, why are you crying? May ginawa ba sayo si Isabel?" he added.
"Hmm, sa guest room kuya. Hinayaan ko muna si Bennie to sleep with Beatriz. Wala kuya. I’m just happy. Hehe. Don’t mind me, it’s just tears of joy," I said as I chuckled.
