Every writer starts as a beginner, fueled by a simple idea and a spark of inspiration. But how do you turn that spark into a blazin...
The main characters of the story are Alex and Annie. However, the setting of the book is a high school. Hence, there are a lot of side characters.
Writing Style:
The story is written in the first person, but the flashbacks are written in the third person. The speaker is noted at the beginning of each chapter or if there is a change of perspective.
The style of writing is very dialogue-based. There is no depth to the description of the character's actions.
Spellings and Vocabulary:
The vocabulary and punctuation are written clearly. There are a few spelling errors. Paragraphing is very well done and legible.

Overall Impression:
The plot of the book is a very standard high school, coming of age, romance book. It has a very common baseline and plot line, which is best friend to lovers. The oppositions are not surprising and most of their actions are quite predictable.
The storyline itself has no issue. It is a basic high school love story. However, I hope the writer doesn't drag the story too long that it loses its spark.
Recommendation:
I would advice sticking to one point of view and based on how your story is structured, the third person is the best choice. It is very easy to mess up writing when it comes to perspective. Try to stick to one way of writing, to prevent contradicting the character's actions.
Also, the third pov will reduce the number of character povs because there will be no specification. No use of I, me, or mine. It will also help in easy change of scenes.
