Book Information Title: Rachel Shore's Answers Author: moso2momo Genre: action-adventure Chapters: 21 Target Audience: 15-30
A. N. A. L. Y. S. I. S
Characters:
Rachel is depicted as strong but fragile, determined, and focused. She has lost everyone that she calls family, all alone but is still able to make something for herself with the help of her best friend.
Writing Style:
The story is written in the first person point of view, with the focus being on Rachel. The style of writing, however, is a passive form.
Spellings and Vocabulary:
Spelling and grammar are done very well. There are no punctuation errors to be corrected. Paragraphs are spaced well and legibly.

Overall Impression:
The title actually attracted me at first glance. It was very straightforward but also inviting, just like the cover page. The shadow person is obviously Rachel Shore, but what question does she need answers to?
The writer is able to depict the bond between Rachel and Kallen, despite their different upbringing and life troubles.
Recommendation:
The only voice distinct in this book is Rachel. I would advise giving the other characters importance in their scenes.
The book lacks context. It feels very empty. There are no vivid physical descriptions or ways for readers to feel sucked into the story.
The dialogues are written well and natural, but they are not acted out. So it feels like just words spoken. There is no action or emotion behind them. Some words don't need to be spoken when they can be acted out.
When it comes to writing books of this kind of genre, there should be a tangible element of mystery and suspense to it. For example, instead of giving us the story of Rachel's family, you could incorporate it into the story and let it get revealed as the story progresses.
It could even be in the form of flashbacks, daydreaming, or dialogue.
