COVER: 8/10 While the cover is visually appealing, I feel it is missing that instant "wow," the kind of impact that immediately draws the viewers in and compels them to explore the story further. I suggest enhancing the visual cohesion by blending the two human figures more seamlessly into the composition and scaling them up slightly compared to the wolf. This adjustment could help unify the elements and create a more striking, immersive effect that better captures the essence of the book.
BLURB: While the blurb is perfect, the only thing bothering me is the punchline. Though it is really good, it kind of gives away the ending. Maybe you could phrase it in a way that it does not give away everything. Something like "Fate chose for them, but would they choose each other?".
WRITING STYLE AND PACE: The book has been written in first person POV, switching between Colin and Jane. The pace is slow burn and suits the style of writing.
CHARACTERS: The characters are well portrayed, Colin and Jane being the main protagonists, while Min-ho and Freya are the side ones.
PLOT: The plot is based on the classic alpha wolf omega relationship where the pack mistreats the omega and the alpha protects her. Though it is taking the classic route, it has its own originality in the form of them not being paired together by the moon goddess, which made the book really interesting.
GRAMMAR: 1. CHAPTER ONE • I miss you too —> I missed you too. • She wasn't my fated mate.......the mark disappeared by morning —> But the mark disappeared by morning. 2. CHAPTER TWO • Don't think he won't find out —>Don't think he won't ever find out. • A few spots from the outer ranks —> a few spots away from the outer ranks 3. CHAPTER NINETEEN • I already choose —> I already chose 4. CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN • I miss you too —> I missed you too
ORIGINALITY: The plot was very original as I have not seen very many books written with the similar plot.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE: I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was really interesting with the suspense of who they would choose. Though I was rooting for them to choose the other characters, the ones they chose actually worked very well in accordance with the plot. The book was emotional and had an impact on the reader since we can feel each emotion through the characters. Apart from a few grammar mistakes mentioned above, the book was really enjoyable.
Thanks and I do hope you take the feedback positively, not negatively. The book was really good, but as a reviewer, I was paying extra attention to details to improve.
