Characters:
Shravni is a princess whose kingdom had fallen to ruin and forced her to be sent as a bride to the opposing kingdom.
She has seen the best and worst of people, experienced war, pain and loss. She is ready to sacrifice herself for her people.
Devrit is a man of principle and honor. He doesn't break his promises and treats everyone as they should.
Writing Style:
The writing style is in third person pov which allows for in-depth explanation and construction of the settings. It isn't a hundred percent one-sided given that we do have the main character of each episode.
Spellings and Vocabulary:
The spelling and vocabulary have little to no errors.
The paragraphs for narration are too bulky and can be broken down more.
Punctuation is well done.

Overall Impression:
The story begins with a good analogy of the events that lived up to the present day. We are introduced to the two main characters from the start and are given a glimpse into their personality and reaction to situations.
I like the addition of a close handmaiden, Madhavi. She serves as a reminder of the FML's home and also a friend/sister figure that she can rely on in a strange country.
I also like that the first love of the prince was quickly settled in the beginning. All those lingering affairs will just worsen and complicate things further.
