This chapter is a little out of character for Aaron Warner, but I think that, in a situation like you'll see in this chapter, it is maybe more likely that he would feel and act slightly like this.

AARON'S POV:
After Juliette woke up, I promptly took her back to our bedroom, in which she still calls my bedroom instead of ours. That was two hours ago, and she is still arguing with me about taking the rest of the day off.
Currently, she is laying in our bed, face still pale and drawn, completely different compared to the face I woke up to this morning - still just as beautiful, of course, but she looks lost. Sad.
"Aaron please let me work, you know that I'm needed right now!" She pleaded with me for the hundredth time since getting back to our bedroom. "You know, technically, this is kidnapping."
That makes me laugh. A chuckle physically pushes past my lips, a smile landing on my face. "Wouldn't be the first time you've accused me of that, sweetheart." I joke, referring to when she first came on to base, straight from the asylum.
"True." She softly giggles, the momentary smile that spreads over her face makes every shred of pain I had to endure to get to where I am right now, worth it. "But seriously, Aaron, now isn't the time for me to be in bed, resting."
Shaking my head, I sigh. "Of course I know that, love, but you are what I care about most in this world and you are my top priority." I try to explain myself, but I can see by her face she still thinks I'm overreacting.
"I know you care about me," she confesses, "so please think about it - if you care about me, then you'll care about what I care about."
I sat there, on the edge of our bed, momentarily shocked that she just manipulated me. "Well played love, well played." I chuckle, softly, proud that she stood up for herself. "I'm not going to force you to rest, love, because you're a full grown woman and you get to decide what is best for you, but please let yourself rest a little bit, you have been working non-stop all day and you passed out from pure exhaustion."
She sighed, longer this time, her eyes show a hint of regret, of realisation. "I know Aaron, of course I know. I feel it. I feel the dizziness."
I nod, knowing that she's talking about me because I, too, have felt like that before. When I was the Supreme Commander, I felt a lot like that most of the time. "Sweetheart," I say, "if you don't rest then you'll be unable to fulfil your role to the best of your abilities."
Consideration etched on to Juliette's face. "I guess. Maybe an hour nap wouldn't hurt."
"Sleep, love, I'll make sure everything is okay in the sector, I promise." I kiss her forehead, helping her settle comfortably in our bed. "Rest up sweetheart."
———
I make sure she's asleep before leaving the room and entering my office. "Sir." I hear Delelui's voice from the small intercom that I have kept in my office. "You are needed in meeting room seven with Miss Ferras."
With a second thought, I pick up my pager, exiting the office and my bedroom, locking the door behind me so no one can get into my room and disturb Juliette while she rests.
———
I enter the meeting room, the whole of the Omega Point crew and Delelui, as well as some high ranked soldiers, Soldier Hale, Soldier Watkins and Soldier Newman.
"Where is J?" Kenji asks, his tone concerned and disappointed.
"She passed out two hours ago, Kishimoto," I say, angry that he would expect her to be here, "you really think she is in any condition to be here right now?"
"Of course not." Defends Kenji, "I'm just surprised that she let herself rest."
"Oh it took a lot of convincing." I mutter, under my breath. I sit down at the head of the table, everyone taking their seats at the same time. "Anyway," I begin, "what is the meaning of this meeting?" I look towards Delelui, being as he is the one who called everyone to the meeting.
"Sir," he nods once, presenting me with some paperwork that he has pulled from a file folder in front of him, "Mr Petit has sent out the official statement that declares war on this sector." He passes the sheets of paper towards me, letting me read them. "It's all here."
I look down at the paper, seeing the headline and paragraphs:
She mustn't get away with this:
I, Sebastian Petit, have officially declared war on Sector Forty Five. Their current Commander has no experience in leading a sector, plus she had been locked up in an asylum for the murder of an innocent child.
How this vile woman got away with such a horrific crime is completely unacceptable and inexcusable. I don't want any part of this county to be run by such a monster - let alone the whole of North America. I wouldn't ever declare war on any of the other sectors in North America, as they are still innocent of any crimes - though if any sectors wish to help us in this battle to fight for the future - for the innocence of all the victims she will take if we don't put a stop to her.
I appreciate any and all help we will get and cannot wait to bring justice for that poor child.
Kindest of regards,Sebastian Petit.
"Shit." I say, using language that I usually scoff at. Normally I would inwardly ridicule other people for using said word. "How bad is it looking, Delelui?" I ask straight up, needing to know the damage and how we can fix this.
"It's not looking too good, sir. Multiple sectors have taken the side of Mr Petit." He tells me.
"How many sectors?" Kenji steps in.
"The majority. Around seventy percent of North America's sectors, plus a few from sectors outside of America as a whole."
Double shit.
"How could this happen?" I stand up, anger hurling at my chest like thunder. "How could Sebastian know about the asylum records? There is only one person who had access to them and that's my father-"
Triple shit.
"Oh fuck!" Kenji expresses and I hate to admit it, but I am thinking the exact same thing right now. "He's back, how the fuck is he back?!"
"I have reason to suspect that he stole Sonya and Sara's blood when he had them held hostage and used their blood to give himself their healing powers." Delelui says, his words make my whole face drain of any colour. My mouth turns bone dry as I am unable to close my agape mouth.
"Warner," Delelui says, his tone obviously shows that he knows the panic that's attacking me, "he might not be back, it is only an assumption."
"Oh Delelui, you wound me," a voice comes from the door, "surely you know what I am capable of by now, father-in-law." I turn and so does everyone else, and there, stood, suit and all, is my father, a smirk on his face that proves this is exactly what he planned for.
