SURPRISE

Maya's POV

I felt his hands around my waist as he picked me up out of the truck and put me on the ground. He took my hand keeping his hand around my waist and leading me forwards.

"Ok, there's a step, put one foot up." I did what he said trying not to fall. I heard a lock and a door handle and then he led me forward again.

He stopped, and then I felt him untying the black blindfold.

"SURPRISE!!" He shouted as he whipped the blindfold away from my face. I looked around to see a big stair case winding up to a second floor and then I saw a beautifully designed living room with a open fire and pictures of us and the bump in frames and on the wall.

I looked towards him wondering if what I was thinking was right.

"Is this ours?" I asked hoping I was right.

"Yep, all ours". He replied. I couldn't believe what I was looking at, it was so beautiful.

There was a office room where Lucas could work that was full of his trophies and mits from his ganes. He then led me through a door that was at the back of the kitchen we walked through and there in front of me was art supplies and canvases. The walls were white so that I could paint what ever I wanted and one side of the room had a large window that cover the top half of the wall, the view was magnificent I could see for miles. I turned around to Lucas, who looked really pleased with himself,

"Do you like it?" He asked.

"I love it, and how did you know to get the non toxic paint?"

"Well first I listen and second you can't have normal paint when your preganat, I'm not just a dumb jock"

"No your not" I turned around and gently kissed him making sure he knew how happy I was. After a few seconds he backed away and said, don't thank me yet. He gave smug look and said

"Come with me" and pulled me towards the stair case. He showed me our room which was yet again filled with hundreds of pictures of us and a kind size bed with black and white covers.

"So can I kiss you know." I asked.

"Not yet, this is the best part!" He then put his hands over my face and led me into another room, this time he didn't say anything, I looked straight at him after he took his hands away, wondering why he was silent and i saw how happy he looked, i then took my first look at the room and I cried.

There was a pink cot at the side of a room with a mobile turning around making sweet lullaby sounds, the walls were a baby pink colour and there was a quote on the wall above the cot

'Cuddles, kisses, snuggles and love.. That what baby girl's are made of'. There was a white bookshelf with dozens of books lined up inside it and a rocking chair in the corner of the room near a window, it had a lamp next to it on a small, white table and there was a corner full of teddy bears that made the whole room look even sweeter.

I turned around to him without asking if the tour was finished because I didn't care and kissed him.
