A Player's Punch

Maya's POV

"Your gonna do so good." I said as he wrapped his arm around me and walked on to the field. The other team seemed to be so rude they kept staring at us and laughing.

"Just ignore them.Right, I have to go talk to the coach I'll see you after the game." Lucas brushed it off and then ran over to the boxy thing where all the players sit.

"Hey hot stuff!" I heard someone shout from behind me. I turned around to see one of the opposite teams players walking over to me.

"What are you looking at?" I asked starting to get really annoyed with the way he was getting closer.

"At that beautiful face, hot
stuff." He continued to move closer but I backed away.

"I heard you were Friar's girlfriend, but seeing you in person I know it couldn't be true. You see your more my type, hot stuff." He bragged putting one of his hands around my waist.

"First of all I'm not hot stuff to you and secondly you touch me one more time and I'll make sure you never play baseball again." I yelled at him taking his hand off me and walking off towards the bleachers.

"If me and friar fought I know who would end up on the ground." He shouted as I continued to walk away.

"I fight my own battles, he would be the one picking you up off the floor not putting you there." I announced still walking toward my seat in the crowd. I acted as ifbibwasnt bothered but inside I was boiling.

"Woooohh!!!" Me, Riley and Farkle cheered from the bleachers of the baseball field.

"Come on." I continued to scream as Lucas came up to bat. He stopped when he saw me and winked and then carried on, he did it every time I came to a game. He said I was his good luck charm which obviously made my heart melt.

I told Riley what happened with the boy touching me.

"His name is Benny, his an complete ass. Don't hit him Maya, then your just as bad as him." She explained.

"So I just have to let men touch me and just walk away." I asked sarcastically.

"No just push him away and call the police. PROMISE me you won't hit him... Maya?" She begged.

"Fine." I replied reluctantly and turned my head back to watching the rest of the game.

"Hey I saw your boy wink at
you during the game." Benny was back again and I didn't know if I could stop myself from murdering him.

"Come on he's not around. He won't even notice if we have some fun." He sniggered and touched my waist.

"GET OFF ME!!" I screamed pushing him away. But he just laughed at me.

"I thought you'd stop me from playing baseball if I Ever touched you again." He laughed pulling a smug face.

"I would love to but I promised someone that I wouldn't." I explained. He continued to laugh more and got closer to me. I was about to turned around and throttle him when I heard him scream

"Arrggh." I couldn't believe it Lucas had come from behind me and punched him in the face making him fall to the floor.

"I didn't promise anyone." He said leaning over Benny who was now scowling over in pain.

"Hey he just hit me." The boy shouted over at people who didn't really care.

"Hey man, your lucky it was me and not her she would have ended your baseball career." Lucas announced before taking my hand and walking me off the field and looking really smug with himself.

"Do you know how great you
are?" I asked him as he opened the door to his truck for me.

"Of course I do, hot stuff!!" He chuckled shutting the door and running round the car to his side.

I love this one shot just because it makes me think of Lucas as a real manly man. Also I really want to do a one shot about her being broken and him being Mr. Perfect so just comment to let me know. Lastly Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed it.
