First day of Forever

Maya's POV

The room was full of women and the smell of hair spray which was drying up my mouth. The tables had over flowed with make-up and my pajamas were on the floor. I knew at any moment Riley would trip, it was bound happen. All my closest friends and family were making a fuss wondering if everything was perfect. I didn't want it to be perfect because we weren't perfect we never were, that was made us work but Riley said as the made of honor she should make everything perfect and I've never messed with determined Riley.

"Riley stop worrying, its gonna be fine." I said

"No Maya it won't, the napkins are Eggshell instead of pearl, what will people think?" her face tightened making her teeth gorge out of her mouth.

"Calm down, I'm sure no one will notice." A small gigle came out of my mouth. Suddenly her face became sad and she looked me dead in the eyes.

"Why are you laughing at me?" She questioned.

"Because Honey, it's my wedding day and your the one upset, do you know how cute you are?" and my giggle turned into a burst of laughter.

"I guess it is a little bit funny, isn't it?" And she started a small giggle which then eventually evolved in us both trying not to cry.

After all the drama had passed Riley looked over at me with a compassionate expression and said

"You look so beautiful, Lucas is gonna die". I shrugged her comment off but inside I desperately wanted him to be one of them grooms that when you watch them when she comes through the doors he looks gobsmacked, not just because she's really beautiful but because he can't believe that he gets to spend the rest of his life with that person.

My mother came sprinting through the doors rushing to get to me behind her was Shawn and Cory

"Where's my baby?"

When she saw me she smiled and said

"You look so pretty, my little girl's getting married." She then pulled me in and hugged me until I couldn't breath. As she did I saw Shawn and Cory, both of their faces were sad but proud and in Shawn's eyes a little tear was sneaking it's way out. When my mother let go Cory came over

"You've come a long way Miss Hart, thank you for giving my daughter a sister and giving me a second daughter." He then hugged me and stepped aside. Shawn didn't say anything he just kissed my head and hugged me that's when I knew that one man was gobsmacked to see
me... my father.

Everyone had left and it was just me and Shawn we were standing in front of the big wooden doors and I didn't realize it until Shawn said
"Your squeezing me tight, are you OK?"

"Yes, I'm just a bit nervous." I replied.

"You can lean on me kiddo".

BANG!!!!

Through the side doors rushed Cory pulling up His zipper

"Sorry, shouldn't have had that fourth coffee" he gently put my other arm through his and said

"I love you kid, are you ready?"

The music started to play and I turned to each of them and nodded.

Lucas' POV

The room was filled with silent coughs waiting for the music to start, scarlet petals were sprinkled along the white carpet and red roses were all over the aisles. My hands were sweaty, not because I had cold feet but because in a few minutes I would finally be getting to call her my wife.

When the classical music started to play I knew she was out there waiting, everything was happening so fast that I began to breath really heavy until the doors opened... And that quickly, my breath was taken away. Her beauty astonished me and I froze with the biggest smile on my face, this intelligent, 'blonde beauty' was finally mine.

Maya's POV

The doors opened and I walked in trying not to look at Lucas straight away, I didn't want to be disappointed by his facial expression but when I looked up he was looking at me with a grin on his face, it was so much better than what I had ever expected.
