The New 'New Years'

I have to thank Densilucaya for the story idea, one of the best I've had so far.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

And I just watched the new 'girl meets "NewYears' and I'm so disappointed with the ending. I was hoping there would be more lucaya moments so I changed it to how I would want it to go.

Maya's POV

We were all going to Riley's roof for New Years and I couldn't wait. I loved seeing all the fireworks and sounds from the street plus this year I was going to spend it with my favorite people.

The only thing that did worry me was Lucas. I really liked him but it scared me. What if he kissed me? What if he kissed Riley?

Meanwhile...

Farkle's POV

"I know you still like him, all you've done since Texas is sit and mope around all day. Just tell him or I will." I demanded.

"Look Farkle I don't like him, I promise." She persisted to lie.

"I can't take it any more, if you don't tell him I'm going to. You have till midnight tonight." I announced making sure she knew I was serious.

"Your being stupid please don't?" She asked. But I just looked at her feeling a bit sad, I had no idea why. I turned around and walked off ignoring her as she yelled at me to come back.

At Lucas' house...

Lucas' POV

For some reason I started to pick out clothes, I wanted to make sure I looked good. I picked a trench coat and jeans. And once I had picked it out I realized I was acting like a girl. I couldn't stop thinking that she might kiss me at midnight and I was scared, in fact she had always scared me.

When I got to Riley's roof it was just me, Riley, Farkle and Maya. It was nice to just sit down and look up at the stars it felt like being back in Texas.

Farkle's POV

"I can't believe its gonna be midnight in 5 minutes you guys, it's a whole New Year." Maya shouted out as she pranced along the roof staring up at the fireworks above us.

"Yh, Riley only 5 minutes, so you better get everything off your chest from this year now." I hinted trying to make her come clean.

"I'm fine thanks." She said smirking at me as if didn't even care. I couldn't understand why she wasn't even worried that I was going to tell him. Maybe she wanted me too, to make it easier for her.

Lucas' POV

I couldn't understand what Riley and Farkle where going on about so I looked over to see what Maya was doing. Her hair was falling behind her shoulders as she lent over the edge of the wall to see the streets below full of families and friends celebrating.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I walked towards her.

"Just admiring the view." She said smiling. I lent over with her to see what was going on.

"Do think I've ever said anything nice to you?" She asked me pulling her eyes from the street to me.

"Every time you call me a name, I know that you feel something for me." I said.

"What?" She asked a little more confused than before.

"Whenever you have feelings for me your mean to me and I know that's you putting a wall up because you like me, so when you call me a name your thinking about me. Which is somehow you paying me a compliment" I concluded.

"You know your really sweet to me." She replied.

"You said something nice to me without calling me a name." I shouted out feeling really surprised.

"5...4...3...2" I heard from the street I didn't know what to do I just froze.

"1...0" everyone screamed. I looked down but as I did I felt her soft lips on my cheek.

"Happy New Years Huckleberry." She whispered in to my ear. And I knew we were going to be ok.

Farkle's POV

"RIGHT its midnight, im going to tell him the truth." I screamed walking towards Maya who was kissing Lucas on the cheek.

"Farkle you have it wrong!" I heard Riley say as she grabbed my hand stopping me form pursuing it.

"Then what is it?" I asked turning around to face her. She grabbed my hand softly and looked at me straight in the eyes.

"Trust me. I'm not thinking about Lucas." She replied. As she walked towards the door that lead back total her apartment she slowly let go of my hand, leaving me a little more confused.

What had just happened?

I so hoped that the real episode would of ended with Riarkle and Lucaya. But I'm sure that Lucaya will be the end game.
