Confusion Part 2

If you haven't read it or can't remember it, go and read Confusion (one if my older one shots) it will help you to better understand this one. But other than that I hope you all enjoy it.

We were gonna be...

"Friends!" He said hugging me and then sitting back next to Farkle in the Booth.

I couldn't believe that after all we had gone through he just called me his friend.

Lucas' POV

I called her my FRIEND!! I was the stupidest guy alive. I didn't understand why I had just called her that because I didn't want her to be 'just my friend' but I couldn't stand ruining the friendship we already had.

The next few days got really awkward. We would go to Riley's house but if she was there I would leave and if I was there she would leave, it was getting to the point where our friendship was draining and that was exactly what I didn't want.We both knew we liked each other but we just wouldn't admit it and I had made it worse by confusing her even more.

We sat at the same booth just like the night when it all went completely wrong and the only two people who were talking were Farkle and Riley.

"Wow, look at how big my burger is guys." Farkle beamed across topangas.

"Yh it's great!" I replied still feeling miserable. The silence carried on for a while until Riley's face went boiling red.

"Look, I'm tired of you two and this stupid thing, we hate the awkwardness and the confusion, don't me Farkle." She announced looking over at Farkle who nodded while still cramming the giant burger in His mouth.

"Come on!" She screamed at Farkle who was following her out the door still holding the burger in his hands.

It went silent again for a moment, I didn't know what to say...

"Lucas?" I heard her say from across the booth.

"Yes." I quickly replied.

"Do you really want to be just my friend?!" She asked me and as she did my stomach hit the ground, if I told her then truth it could ruin our friendship but if I didn't I would be miserable.

"Because I like you." I heard her say those words and my head shot up, I didn't Care about anything, just how happy I felt in that moment.

"Of course I do." A weight dropped off my shoulder if felt so good being able to tell her. I felt like the More I denied my feelings for her the weaker I became. She was my kryptonite.

"But I dont want to ruin the way we are!" I explained trying not to fall under her spell.

"Me and you have cone back from far worse than this, can you remember New years when we all found out Riley actually did like you. We worked through it then and we can work it out
now..." She rambled on trying to convince me.

"You know your great." I interrupted her.

"What?' She asked looking confused.

"Your so great, I've never met anyone quite like you Maya
Hart." I said moving along the booth and pushing her lips against mine. I had fallen under her spell and I liked every single second of it.

And I knew we were going to
be... TOGETHER!!!
