Drink!!

Hey guys this oneshot really inspired me when i saw the promo for 'girl meets forgiveness' which is about Maya's father. So i hope you enjoy it and as usual if you have any suggestions let me know.

Lucas' POV

"Guys, I'm not sure we should be doing this!" Maya uttered.

"This is the first time that Maya's doing the right thing." Riley said looking over at Maya and giggling but Maya didn't respond she just went red and looked down at the ground.

"She's right, I mean drinking with seniors?" Farkle said trying not to gulp from fear.

"This will be fine, its not like we're going to do something stupid." I whispered into Maya's ear as I looked over at her rolling my eyes but she didn't looked at me, she just continued to stare at the ground.

"Seriously this doesn't seem safe, why do we need alcohol to have a good time, we all have fun regardless." Maya persisted.

"Well we're here now so we might as well." Riley shouted spinning around on the sidewalk.

"Of all people you should be the one to know this is wrong." She yelled at Riley who already seemed to be drunk, drunk on happiness. I couldn't understand why she was so upset but I just dropped it because Maya was just looking out for us all.

When we knocked on the double doors a skinny looking kid with a beanie on his head and a cigarette in his hand opened it, glared at us and then walked away leaving the door wide open.

"Can't we just go home, I'm sure Cory won't be happy with us!" Maya whispered just loud enough so we could all hear her. I didn't really want to drink but I knew that we all probably would anyway.

"Maya it's fine let's GO!" Riley yelled while running into the house.

Maya POV

People were every where and they didn't look like they were with it, I couldn't believe Riley actually wanted to do this she was so fixated on not being predictable she was doing the worst thing she could.

I waited by the door for a while watching Lucas who seemed like he hadn't had a drink yet but Farkle and Riley were sat at the table in the kitchen doing vodka shots.

"Guys it's time to stop now, let's go, you've proved your point!" I said walking towards the kitchen table.

"Gosh, maayya yoour succhh a kill Joy!" Riley moaned slurring her words. I didn't like drunk Riley.

"Yh, haave a driuink with uus and you Lucas, come ooon." Farkle yelled towards lucas in the lounge. Lucas walked into the kitchen stared at the drink and then smiled.

"I guess one couldn't hurt.. Ok?" He chuckled to himself looking a bit worried.

"No please not you of all people your the good guy!!" I screamed. I couldn't take it anymore so I ran out the door into the street.

Lucas' POV

I couldn't believe it Maya was actually crying, this didn't happen too often. I had to follow her to see what was going on.

When I got outside, I saw her sobbing on the side walk. She was sitting with her back against the fence and the light from the lamp post above her shone down just enough that I could see her face. I sat beside her she was clearing up the water with a tissue and she wouldn't look at me.

"Maya, I didn't do the shot!" I said

"You didn't? Why not?" She asked.

"I was too busy chasing you!" I replied. She let out a small giggle and turned her head to face me but she was still sniffling from the tears.

"What's wrong why didn't you want us to do it?" I asked.

"Your gonna think I'm stupid!"

"No I'm not, tell me...please!" I persisted.

"Ok, my dad was ok at being my dad but he wasn't cut out for it and when he used to drink he said horrible things to my mother and me and he would leave and not cone back for days, it wasn't as bad at the start but after a while it got worse and then one day he just didn't come back, I just hate alcohol fro making him sick." She uttered bearly getting the words out.

"Why are you getting upset? We would never do what your dad did?"

"I wasn't that upset until I saw you pick up that drink, your so nice that I just worry that when you drink you could turn the way my father did and I don't think I could take it. Not from you!"

"I won't drink Maya. Never. I promise!" I vowed. She looked up at me. Her big blue eyes were finally dry, she smiled at me and pulled me in to give her a hug.

Suddenly Riley and Farkle cane bursting out the door down to the sidewalk.

"I dont feel to great!" Riley shouted over at us.

"Me neither." Farkle added. We both let out a laugh.
