Lucas' POV

I looked around the stadium to lots of screaming fans that wanted us to win I know it was bad but all I ared about was searching to see if they were up there.

I looked around and there they were cheering me on. Riley was on Shawn's lap and she looked so great in her little baseball cap that said 'friar's #1 fan'.

Maya's POV

The whole day I felt really uncomfortable it might have been because I was 8 months and 4 days pregnant. I didn't want to go but Riley had been so excited and now I think about it Lucas seemed to be too.

The only reason I wanted to go was because Shawn had come with us and I wanted him to know that I had named the baby after him.

"Shawn, I need to talk to you about something." I yelled over the the intro music.

"Ok, just wait a minute I want to go get a soda!" He shouted back as he picked up Riley and took her with him. I just couldn't find the right time to tell him and it was making me even more flustered.

I started to get a pain in my stomach so I got up but as soon as I did it went away. I thought nothing of it and went back to watching Lucas he was doing such a great job.

"Gooo Friar!!!!!" I screamed knowing that he was never going to hear me from this high up.

When Shawn came back I thought it was a perfect time to tell him.

"Dad, I wanted to let you know that I really love you for always being there for me and to thank you for being my dad I am planning to name..."

"Yeeeahhhh!!!" Shawn yelled.

"What, what happened?" I questioned him.

"Lucas just got a home run, HE'S MY SON-IN-LAW!!!!!" He screamed to the people around him so I just gave up in the end and decided to watch the game.

When it got nearer to the end of the game which Lucas was winning. I started to get more pains.

"Ahhh." I yelled. Shawn turned to me and saw me clutching my belly.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"Yh, I was just cheering for
lucas." I replied. I smiled but he continued to give me a worried frown.

"Honestly i'm fine dad." I persisted. He smiled still wondering if i was ok and looked away towards the game.

Suddenly I realized that I was in labour, but I couldn't tell anyone. Lucas was in the middle of a game and I couldn't give birth on my own, not after what happened when Riley was born so I decided to do my breathing and try to get through the pain until Lucas had finished the game.

When it was over all the players families were called onto the field. I didn't want to move let Alone walk down about a hundred stairs but I did it for Lucas, he was so happy we were here and I couldn't take that away from him.

Lucas' POV

As soon as I saw Maya walk down that last step I knew something was wrong, she was white as a new sheet

"What is wrong with you? We have to get you home now." I shouted. She didn't respond, her eyes just got wider and she looked down, I followed her eyes which led me to her jeans which were now all wet.

"Lucas, we have to go now, I think!" She shouted towards me as I went running over to her.

"Call an ambulance, she's in labour!!!" I screamed to the coach and then at Shawn. The people in the stands stood and stared and some of the players wives came over to help.

"Mummy, are you ok?" Riley said from across the field, she looked scared.

"Yes munchkin I'm fine, stay with grandpa shawn." She managed to reply.

When the ambulance arrived it was just me, Maya, Shawn and Riley. Before the ambulance doors could close, Maya shouted out

"By the way we're naming the baby Shawn, after you dad!!"

Shawn's POV

After I heard them words my heart sank and I smiled back at her. The doors shut and the ambulance drove away.
