Ok, so I watched 'Girl meets bay window' today and I cried like so bad but I also got inspired to make a one shot so here we are. Comment if you have any suggestions and let me know what you thought of 'girl meets bay window' 🤓🤓

Maya's POV

"Can you pass me those boxes?" I called out to Lucas who was still giving me the stink eye.

"I will when you tell me why you have to keep your apartment when your moving in with me!" He moaned crossing his arms and panting like a teenager who's not getting their own way.

"Why does it matter if I keep my apartment?" I asked him, still confused by what the big deal was all about.

"Because we're supposed to be committing to this and if you've still got an apartment then we're doing the exact opposite?" He raised his voice which made me get a little bit more annoyed.

"I'm keeping my apartment and that's the end of it." I shouted picking up the boxes myself.

"Maya's this is ridiculous!" He shouted back going into the kitchen.

"Oh yeah run away!" I yelled as he left the room.

"Why can't you just be reasonable!" He said walking back in and then leaving again.

"You're just like every other man... Arrogant and insensitive." I screamed running out the back door and sitting on the cold pavement stairs. I started to cry but I did it quietly so Lucas couldn't hear the sobs.

Lucas' POV

I couldn't understand how someone so little could have so much anger inside of them it was like she was waiting for us to argue. Why wouldn't she give up the apartment? It wasn't like it was that important to her, it didn't have any memories but no matter what we had both said I couldn't just leave her outside crying, so I went to find her

I walked outside and she turned her head so I couldn't see the tears running down her face. I sat down on the pavement with her back to me and tapped her shoulder but she didn't move.

"Just leave then." She sobbed making me realise what this was about.

"Maya tell me why you're keeping you apartment?" I asked again just to make sure I was right. "Please?"

She turned around to face me, trying to wipe away the tears before I saw them.

"I was worried that we would argue and then you would leave me alone in this place l. But it's already happened I guess I was right." She explained. I knew exactly what this was all about. It was about change.

"Maya you need to understand something. I am NOT your father. I'm not gonna leave you. Can you remember that promise we made in Riley's bay window?" I asked.

She nodded.

"I promise I will never leave just because we've changed where we live doesn't mean we're gonna change."

"What if we do?" She whispered between the sobs

"Then we'll change together?" I smiled making her smile too.

Maya's POV

He always made me feel so safe, when he explained everything I couldn't even believe that I second guessed him.

"I'm gonna sell my apartment." I whispered as my head rested on his shoulder.

"You don't have to." He explained. "I just wanted to know why you kept your apartment?"

"I don't need it anymore. I have you!" I blushed making him smile.
