Maya's POV

Me and Riley were sitting in the middle of a Starbucks in a giant gas station full of strangers and our classmates who were fascinated by how different The UK was to America.

"Just sit next to Lucas for the rest of the bus trip so I can watch 'pretty woman' with Farkle... please?" Riley pleaded trying to pull a sad face to make me feel guilty.

"Fine, but what am I going to talk to him about?" I asked.

"You'll find something, besides your together it shouldn't be weird." She said making me feel a little bit better about the whole situation. When we got back on the bus it was kind of awkward because I didn't want to have to tell Lucas he had to sit next to me.

"Lucas your sitting next to Maya!" Riley yelled down the bus to him as she scooched In to the window seat next to Farkle.

"I'm really sorry your stuck with me till we get the hotel." I said. Smiling over at him.

"No its great, I couldn't stand to watch another movie starring Julia Roberts!" He laughed making me giggle with him.

"Look we have to talk about the other night!" He said, trying to figure out what I was thinking.

"Look, I'm so sorry, I know you said it and then I just ran away but I was scared!" I pleaded to him trying not to cry. He looked right at me contemplating what he was going to say and I just prayed that it wasn't anything bad.

"Look, this trip was supposed to be fun for us as a couple. I LOVE YOU... And I don't want to take it back just jut because you don't feel that way yet. So, when you do feel the same way let me know and I'll be waiting, ok?" He explained so eloquently that I melted away in what he said. How could I be so lucky to get someone who understands me so well.

"Your so great Lucas, thanks for being so understanding." I said still feeling a bit insecure about what had happened. He let out a sigh of relief and turned his head towards to window to look out at feilds of stock ands corn.

"So are we good now?" I asked. I looked over at him as he stared out at the miles if green grass

"We always have been, don't think for a second that we haven't!" And at that point he turned only his head, which was up against his head rest, to face me and gave me a big grin which once again made me melt.

Lucas POV

It was ok that she hadn't said 'I love you' yet. She didn't need to tell me she loved me because I already knew she did. By how well she looked after me and how much she cared when someone did me wrong. When she was ready she would tell me.

We talked for a bit and after a while we forgot about that awkward three words and we had gotten back to behaving the way we always had.

A few hours later I woke up to find her head in my lap and she was acting strange.

"Make sure, Riley gets to the dentist!" she whispered.

"Make sure Riley does what?" I asked her more confused than before.

"She needs the dentist, take her to the dentist."she replied. I realised that she was sleep talking.

"Ok, I'll make sure she gets
there." I played along.

"Oh good, thanks Lucas." She said so sure of what she was saying.

"Lucas?" She asked.

"What?" I said trying not to laugh at her cuteness.

"I love you." She continued making me speechless. I just smiled and put my head down grinning to myself.

I love this one and I might make another to tell us what happened when they got to London, let me know what you all think and as usual I hope you liked it.
