Lucas' POV

"This is gonna be so fun you guys!" Riley screamed as she created the biggest grin I had ever seen.

"Riley what are you talking about." Farkle asked. "Bugs, mud, air and worst of all... no technology."

"Stop acting like a girl Farkle. Just be happy like me. Look how happy I am." And Somehow Riley made her smile even bigger, if you can believe it.

I looked over at Maya who seemed to be watching them fight and laughing at how funny they were.

She saw me looking at her so she rolled her eyes, pointed at Farkle and Riley and then giggled more. The only thing I wanted to do was give her a hug but I couldn't we hadn't told anyone about us and if I'm honest I was starting to wonder if we ever would.

Maya's POV

When Riley and Farkle went to set up the tents I quickly passed Lucas a note...

"Maya come help me set up our tent." She called over.

"Coming!!" I quickly walked away hoping she hadn't seen me give him the note.

"So what do you need help with?" I asked her picking up some of the pegs.

"Well actually?" She smiled and I knew what that meant. It meant she had no idea what she was doing.

"Please do it Maya." She tried to worm her way out of it and funnily enough it worked.

"Maya it looks so great." She yelled when she came over, but bear in kind my hair was a mess and I was sweating from places I didn't even know I could sweat.

Lucas' POV

I opened the note she gave to me why Farkle was rolling around in the tent trying to conquer it.

When Farkle falls asleep meet me out side the tents

We were finally going to spend some time together and it wasn't going to be with Riley and Farkle.

That night...

I waited to Farkle to fall asleep and then I crept out the the tent

"Maya?" I called out.

"Over here." She whispered gesturing over to a log.

"We're gonna get caught together. I thought you didn't want everyone knowing about us yet!"

"They won't wake up, they both sleep like logs." She giggled.

"Maya?"

"Yeah."

"Are you embarrassed of me. Is that why you don't want everyone to know that we're together?" I asked her dreading what her answer might be.

"Why would you think that. Of course not." She assured me. "The truth is that I didn't want to tell anyone about us because when we do... it becomes real and if it's real there a chance we could loose it and I don't think I could chance going through the pain again." She looked down but I felt relieved I finally knew she liked me.

"Ok let's wait but remember it's already real. We've always been real." I explained making a little smile appear on the side of her face. "Come here!" I said laying down in the floor and gesturing for her to join me and she did.

Maya's POV

That morning...

"Wakey wakey." I heard from above. I opened my eyes to see Farkle and Riley standing above me.

"Hello you two." They both giggled. I couldn't understand why they said 'you two' until I turned to see Lucas sleeping next to me.

"Argggh!" I screamed and then Lucas woke up and realised what had happened.

"Ohh we must have fallen asleep last night when we thought we heard that noise and stayed up looking for what it came from." He explained glaring at me to respond.

"Yeah, it sounded so scary." I added "well... I think I'm gonna make some breakfast... Yep some breakfast." I mumbled as I scurried away.

"I'm gonna get some firewood." Lucas whispered as he turned red.

Farkles POV

"How long before they admit it to us?" I asked Riley once the two of them had gone.

"I give them a week." She giggled.

"Did you hear them last night?" She asked me.

"Every word."
