I woke up in my bed at nine forty two a.m. with Troye laying at the opposite end. I liked this little relationship we had because we weren't really sexual with each other, just cuddly and cute. Like, we didn't have sex last night, we just kind of relaxed together in bed. We enjoyed being around each other. All that really mattered to us was that we were together.
Troye and I both needed to be at the Anaheim Convention Center at eleven a.m. to get ready for our panels at VidCon, and figure out how our meet and greets were going to work. Once Troye had brushed his teeth, he came to the kitchen and we quickly ate breakfast. Breakfast consisted of slightly undercooked scrambled eggs, and oddly shaped pancakes since we were in such a rush to get out of my apartment and to the Convention Center.
As I ran to the bathroom to brush my teeth, I thought about how happy I was knowing that Troye and I weren't awkward around each other. I guess since we'd spent so much time together, it would never really be awkward again, no matter how long we were both separated.
Without thinking or looking around, I walked into my room peeling my shirt off rather quickly. I needed to change fast because I didn't want to be the reason that Troye and I were late. After I put on a maroon sweater, I realized that Troye was in the back of my room, holding a shirt in his hand. I looked at him and laughed. "How long have you been in here?"
"Long enough to see you change your shirt."
"Oh, well I hope you enjoyed the show." I smirked a flirty smile at Troye and opened my drawer looking for a pair of jeans. Troye scoffed jokingly and walked towards the door, "I did." he said blushing slightly, exiting my room. I laughed quietly to myself after hearing my room door close and continued to search through my drawer for jeans.
After driving for a while, Troye and I surprisingly reached the Anaheim Convention Center faster than we thought that we would. After I parked my car, I realized that we were fifteen minutes early. Troye and I sat in the car and talked for a while until he asked if I wanted to go wait inside. I was looking down at my phone when Troye asked. He must've been a little bored of my silence. "Hey Con, do you wanna wait inside?"
"Yeah sure." I unlocked the car door, still looking at my screen. When I looked up, my eyes landed directly on the rear-view mirror. In the reflection, I saw Tyler with Korey, greeting Hannah and Ingrid at the entrance of the building. I discontinued to open my car door. "Hey Troye," I started, "Can we wait in the car a little longer?"
"Yeah, sure....why?"
"Uhh......nothing, really. I'm just pretty tired, I guess. Don't really feel like talking to anyone except you right now."
I noticed that Troye was looking in his rear-view mirror. "This doesn't have anything to do with Tyler, does it?"
"Well...."
"It's okay, we can stay in the car if you want."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
"You know, if you want, you can go, I'll just chill in the car for a while before getting out."
"No, it's okay." I felt Troye's hand move onto mine. "I'll wait here with you." Smiling, I leaned close to Troye and planted a kiss on his cheek. "I'm just not ready to talk to these old friends yet." I said to Troye, watching him nod as if to understand and agree.
