So far, today hadn't been super ideal. John and Hank had put me on a panel with Tyler, and Troye was on a panel with Joe, Caspar, and Zoe. I was with Tyler, Joey, Bethany Mota, and some others that I can't remember. I was honestly just happy to be away from everyone for now. For some reason, I only wanted to spend time with Troye.

Troye and I arrived back at my apartment around seven-ish and it was getting dark outside. When we walked inside, it was very dark, so I put on the light by the front door, seeing Troye run across my living room to plug in my fairy lights. Once he plugged in the fairy lights around my house plant and turned on the chandelier dimly, I turned off the light by the front door. I smiled at Troye before hearing him say "Oh! Wait here." He ran to the guest room where all of his luggage was.

I walked slowly towards the guest room. I think he had heard me walking because he yelled "Wait!" once more at me. Stopping where I was standing, I yelled back, "Okay! Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, yeah, everything's fine! Just give me a second!"

I stayed where I was, looking at the guest room door from an angle. "Okay, close your eyes Connor!" Troye shouted to me from the guest room. "Okay!" I yelled back. "Are they closed?"

"Yes, they're closed!" I said through closed eyes and hands over my face. I felt Troye's presence near me, and grow closer. I could hear a noise that sounded like ruffling wrapping paper. It was the noise you would hear holding a Christmas present, or a birthday present, or a present in general. It was the ruffling wrapping paper sound of a present.

When I assumed Troye was standing directly in front of me, he told me that I could open my eyes. I slowly removed my hands from covering my face and looked up at Troye, who was smiling brightly. Looking at only his face, I realized he was holding a tiny rectangular-shaped box. The wrapping paper was a glossy white, and there was a big black bow taped to the top of the present. I laughed at Troye, "What is this Troye?"

"Open it."

"What's it for?"

"Open it!"

"Okay, okay."

Troye acted very jumpy as I removed the bow and carefully peeled away the white wrapping paper. He seemed to be more excited than I was.

Once all of the wrapping paper was off, there was a white rectangular box that had "For you" written in black sharpie across the top of it. Troye's handwriting was such a font.

I opened the box to find that it contained two strips of paper, that were tickets to an "Oh Wonder" concert tonight at nine. But they weren't just tickets. They were VIP tickets. The tickets were also a glossy white, with black ink printed on them. The box that he had wrapped with the bow matched with the whole "Oh Wonder" theme. "Troye....." I held the tickets in both hands and looked at Troye, who was turning the brightest shade of red. "Why did you spend so much money?"

"Don't worry about it."

"Is this for some special occasion or something?"

"None in particular, I just wanted to spend some relaxing time with you."

I grinned at Troye and went to him to give him a hug. "You're the best." I said to him, resting my head on his shoulder.

Troye and I finished changing and getting ready by eight thirty, and were ready to get on our way to the concert. Troye wore a black sweater and I decided on a gray sweater.

It was nine fifteen when we arrived at the concert building. We had our tickets scanned by the man scanning tickets outside of the building and proceeded to enter.

The concert place was rather small, but it was nice. I didn't enjoy concerts that were extremely crowded anyway. Cute little concerts like these were my favorite kinds. There were no more than one hundred to two hundred people in the space, so there was room to breathe. There also weren't obnoxious fans in the room, there were mature fans who came to enjoy music, rather than screaming and trying to get the attention of the artist.

Troye and I found our seats, which were in the middle, and they were perfect. The stage could be seen perfectly, and it wasn't very crowded around us either.

We sat down in our seats and spoke for a while. "I'm so excited to meet Anthony and Josephine after the show." I said to Troye tapping my finger rapidly on the arm rest of my seat. "I am too." Troye smiled at me, showing his teeth. I swear his teeth were brighter than the sun.

After waiting for about ten minutes, Anthony and Josephine came out from backstage to introduce themselves. The instrumental people came out on stage as well and got in their positions. Not long after, the show started.

They started by singing "Technicolour Beat", and it was easy to say that their voices were just as beautiful live as they were in the studio recordings.

An hour passed, and Josephine announced that the next song was going to be the last song that they sang. After the first verse of the song that they had titled "Livewire", I was absolutely in love. I felt shivers over my whole body as they sang. This song was amazing. I tapped my finger along to the song until I felt Troye's hand on mine. His hand was so familiar to me. We placed our hands on top each other so often, but every time it happened, I still felt the same static feeling.

He looked at me and leaned closer to my face. I thought he was going to kiss me at first, but his mouth stopped by my ear. I felt his breath on my ear before he began to whisper to me. "These are the kinds of shows that I want to do." He said.

"I want to have small, affordable concerts that all my fans would be able to come to, but at the same time, I don't want too many people there." I looked at him and smiled. "It's my dream to do shows like this." He explained to me. I squeezed his hand and kissed him on the cheek, as I had done so many times before. "Why does it have to be a dream?" I asked Troye, smirking at him.

After the show, we got backstage, showing another person holding a ticket scanner our VIP tickets. We stood in line for a while, but finally got to Josephine and Anthony. "Hi." Troye said nervously as he approached the duo. "Troye?" Josephine asked. I trailed behind Troye. "You know me?" He asked. "Of course we do, we're huge fans!" The four of us talked for a long while, and I introduced myself. Once our time was up for speaking with Josephine and Anthony, it was finally time to go, but they stopped us before we exited to speak to us once more. "Troye," Josephine began, "We should definitely collaborate on a song some time."

"Yes definitely!"

After they talked about collaborating, we finally left. I was so excited for Troye, and I'm sure he was extremely excited as well. Tonight had been such an incredible night.

'What a life.' I thought to myself upon stopping at a red light. Troye had fallen asleep leaning on the car window. 'I'm just a bit lucky.'

'Or perhaps more than just a bit.'
