"Wanna go to a bar?"

'Did Troye really just ask that?' I asked myself in my head. "Um...you want to..?"

"Yeah, why not?"

Troye and I had gotten back to my apartment a while ago and were now just relaxing on my sofa watching "The Kardashians". "Uh- uhh.... y-yeah, you want to? We can go, sure!" Troye's eyes examined my face, trying to understand the emotions that I was feeling. "You okay Con?"

"Yeah, I've just never....been to a bar."

"What?"

"Yeah..."

"Neither have I, actually." I looked up at Troye, who was grabbing his left arm with his right hand, facing downward. "Well, then let's go." I smiled and placed my MacBook onto his lap. "Look for the nearest bar, and make sure there's at least three stars for the rating." Troye chuckled and began smacking his fingers on the keyboard, while my eyes remained glued to the television screen.

After a while of listening to Troye typing and scrolling, he said he found a bar called "The Bar" on Sunset Boulevard. It was remotely close to my apartment, so we decided to go.

It took some time to find a parking spot outside of the bar, but we finally found one, a little far from the entrance. Troye and I both got out of my car and faced each other for a second before walking towards the entrance. "You ready?" I asked Troye. "Yeah.....yeah I am."

The two of us entered the bar and were immediately overwhelmed by the amount of older men glaring at us. I smiled and awkwardly waved at a completely ripped male who looked around the age of seventy. He had white hair and a little scruff from his beard. A cigar dangled from the corner of his lips, and four shot glasses were scattered in his area, all stained orange. "Wow," I said to Troye quietly. "Let's not sit near him." Troye laughed, blowing air out of his nose. "You don't need to tell me twice." Troye and I found two seats at the opposite end of the bar. The older man looked at us once more before facing the bar tender to ask for something else.

Troye and I waited for a little before the bar tender came to us to ask us what we wanted. He was smoking as well. "What can I get for you two?"  The way he asked made the question sound like a statement. I opened my mouth to speak, and then broke down coughing. I had inhaled the smoke from his cigarette. "Okay then." I was still coughing. The tender faced Troye. "I guess I'll just ask you first then. What can I get for you?" Troye asked for something, but I couldn't hear what he'd asked for since I was coughing so much. "Alright, you good man?" The tender turned to me and asked. I could not stop coughing. "Do you want me to get something for you?" Troye asked me, concerned. I nodded yes and Troye proceeded to speak with the bar tender.

The bar tender gave me a mean look before turning around to get our drinks. "Connor are you okay?" I managed to say "I don't know." without coughing all over Troye. The bar tender came back around and slammed two glasses in front of us. I watched as a bit of the alcohol in the glass splashed out of the glass. "Here you go, gentlemen." He said before walking away again. 'Maybe taking a sip will get rid of this cough.' I thought. I was wrong. I sipped at the glass and then proceeded to spit it back into the cup, coughing more. "Looks like you love it." Troye said to me giggling. I smirked at him sarcastically. "Do you like it?" I asked him. Troye was twirling his cup, watching the liquid inside start to spin. It looked like a little tornado inside a cup. "No it's awful, actually." He put his glass down. "I think I'm gonna try something else." I made eye contact with him. "Okay." I looked around the bar until my eyes landed upon a tiny spiral staircase. 'There must be a roof.' I moved my hand up to my hair to pat it down a little until opening my mouth to speak to Troye. "Hey, Troye, I'm gonna go get some air, okay?"

"Oh, okay, is everything alright?"

"Yeah, yeah...I just need to breathe for a bit."

"Alright."

I hesitated for a moment until proceeding to stand up from the bar stool and go to the staircase. As I walked by the bar, I noticed that the old man with the cigar was no longer sitting at the bar.

Up the staircase, there actually was a roof. I walked around for a bit, and headed to the edge to stare into the night sky for a while. I took a few steps before spelling smoke. 'Oh god.' I looked to my right side to find the old man with his cigar. I ignored him and looked out into the beautiful night sky. "I'm not as mean as I look." The man said to me. "I don't think you're me-"

"Don't kid yourself, kid." I laughed at him a little before speaking again.  Facing him I said, "I'm Connor."

"Nice to meet you, Connor, I'm Harley." I nodded and looked back off of the edge of the building.

"That boy that you came with,"

I looked back at Harley. "Yeah, what about him?"

"Is he your boyfriend?"

"Uh, yeah....yeah he is."

"You guys are a beautiful couple." I blushed. "Thanks, Harley." And that was when I heard a familiar voice from behind me. "It's beautiful out tonight, isn't it?" Troye said as he walked over to me.

"Yeah, it is." I responded. "I'll leave you two be." Harley said, raising his cigar politely. I watched as he went back down the staircase, and then drew my attention to Troye. "He's actually a nice guy." I explained. "That's good to know." I crossed my arms over the ledge on the roof and looked back into the sky. Troye came next to me and did the same. The moon was so full.

"Well, this bar experience has been terrible." I said to Troye.

"Yeah, it really has."

"Can we agree to never do this again?"

"Without a doubt Connie Frannie."

We both laughed. There was then a moment of silence, but it didn't last too long."You can actually see how gray the moon is from here." Troye said to me. "Well, it actually looks more silver, don't you think?" I argued. "Yeah, yeah you're right. It does look pretty silver."

"Mhm."

"Hey, have you ever heard of like, making a wish, when there's a full moon out?"

"I've heard of making a wish when I see a shooting star, but not on a full moon."

"I've never made a wish when there was a full moon out, but maybe I should try it."

"Nah, I mean, forget all the shooting stars and all the silver moons. I have everything I need already."

"You do?"

"Yeah. All I need is you."
